When I got to Glo's home, I instantly had the feeling to be home. She is a lovely person that you have to like. :-)
The house is nice and has a beautiful garden. This view is great when having breakfast.
The room is nice and clean and provides everything you need.
I can really recommend this room to everyone :-)
Glo was an excellent host with a really lovely house a short walk from the centre of town. The room was small but very bright, clean and comfortable. Glo provided breakfast which I enjoyed eating in her beautiful garden. I would certainly recommend staying here.
I was made to very welcome and the house and beautiful garden were fantastic. I was sorry I was only passing through and would definitely go back and stay with Glo!
I absolutely adored my stay at Glo's. Glo warmly welcomed me and showed me all around the house. I felt right at home and was completely comfortable. The house is exactly as described and the room is beautiful and cosy with a very comfy bed! The neighbourhood is stunning and in a great location too, about a 20 minute walk into town and only a 10 minute walk to the river and all the beautiful parks. There is also a supermarket and other handy stores only a 5 minute walk away too. Overall I throughly enjoyed my time at Glo's, she was great company and a perfect host. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much Glo.
Staying at Glo's was absolutely wonderful! Her home is beautiful, and the room was perfect for a two-week stay, cosy and very homely. Glo was incredibly welcoming and also great to talk to! She made me feel very much at home, and was very helpful with information about Cambridge too. The home is just over the road from a bus-stop that takes around 10 minutes to central Cambridge, or else is a 20 minute stroll across the river. The neighbourhood itself is also lovely, and there is a convenience store just across the road too. I was very independent but Glo was always available if I wanted to ask anything about Cambridge. Overall it was a fantastic stay and lovely to meet Glo, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!
This was a fantastic experience! Glo was really kind and made me feel very welcome. The room is nice and cozy - perfect for a week solo stay. The house is located near a store and just a nice short walk (over the river and through park) to all of the colleges. Would definitely recommend! A great experience guaranteed!
Glo was a wonderful host, I felt really welcome and the house was exactly as described. The single room is comfortable and clean with beautiful big towels. It is a quiet neighbourhood and walking distance to the town. There is a bus nearby as well. There were supplies for breakfast and access to the kitchen. Overall I had a great stay and would love to go back in the future. Sharing a bathroom with two other people was not a problem, I only had to wait once. Wifi was great, and there were universal adapters supplied in the drawers which was a really thoughtful addition. All in all a home away from home which I would highly recommend.
