Glo was unfailingly kind and considerate and I felt very welcome. The room was cosy and comfortable, and the towels were very appreciated. It is a quiet road and a bare half hour walk from the centre.
I would like to thank you for the wonderful time I’ve spent in your lovely home. Situated a 2 minutes’ walk from the nearest bus stop and a 20 minute walk from city centre, I was always extremely close to the main touristic hot-spots. Every facility in your house; showers, radiators and electric bed warmers… & etc. were all in the best condition and made my experience very pleasant. The kitchen was always accessible to me, and as you know, I took full advantage of the available oven, sink and refrigerator.
Above all, you were exceedingly kind to me Glo, always attentive to my needs and wonderful company when I returned every evening. With your cheery disposition and warm nature, I am sure I will be finding myself to visit you as soon as opportunity arises.
Very gratefully yours,
Glo was incredibly welcoming and made me feel very much at home. Although my bedroom was small I could use the dining room with a comfortably sofa during the morning and evening to use my laptop. I could make yourself a coffee or tea at any time.
The house has a lovely back garden and has African photos and carvings from Glo's time in Africa. I enjoyed these as I have spent some time in Africa. The house is in a very quiet neighbourhood and easy walk into the centre of Cambridge.
In fairness to Glo I have to whole heartedly recommend her house as somewhere to stay. My reservation is that as I would like to go there again I don't want too many people booking with her. She has a lot of repeat visits.
Glo was a kind and helpful host. I was not there except to sleep as I was on a busy training course.
The house is large in a lovely street about 20 minutes walk to Elizabeth Bridge and the river.
The room was small but manageable.
I had such a great first Airbnb experience at Glo's! The room was small but bright and sunny, perfectly fine for a few days stay. The rest of the house was lovely and clean. The house is in a great position - just a few moments away from a supermarket, places to eat and then just a little bit further to the wonderful colleges Cambridge is known for. Glo herself was wonderful- welcoming and knowledgeable from the very beginning. She was able to point me on a great walk into town and suggested things that were going on in Cambridge. Add that to the pamphlets, books and maps she provides in the rooms and I was able to get the best out of my short stay in Cambridge!
The host Glo is very friensly and knoeldgeable about the town of Cambridge. The house is in a convenient location to the town and is comfortable. Would recommend for a basic and comfortable place to stay on a short trip to cambridge.
Glo was nice & welcoming. I could feel free & comfortable in her house. The room was very small and even smaller was the bathroom down in first floor.
