Our house is in an area named Minna, Inverin which is on the coast road, R336, 26 kilometers from Galway,in Connemara, and the sea/beach is just at the end of our road. We have an organic garden and orchard, and we also have two cats and a dog. We also have hens providing us with free range eggs. Our house is colourful, warm, and peaceful.
The room has a double bed, and plenty of storage with an open plan wardrobe and chest of drawers with a shared bathroom.
We'll provide tea, coffee, and toast for breakfast, but we're open to other arrangements by request.
As for local attractions, we are very near the airport that services the Aran islands and also near the port for getting a ferry to the islands. There are also great walks to be taken on the shore or up on the bog where we save the turf for winter fuel. There are plenty of friendly pubs, music, places to eat. a beach nearby for swimming, fishing from the shore or a chance to go on a boat from Spiddal which is just 13 kilometers away. There is a bus service which takes about 40 minutes, but occasionally faster depending on traffic.

Interaction with Guests
Generally we are here. Sometimes we may have a prior engagement that evening, when that happens we make arrangements for the guests to enter the listing. Once there we engage with them as much as they wish
The walk to the beach, the many small roads, named boreens, that lead to the beach and the bog . Spiddal Craft Centre is not far and has a great collection of of craft workers, you can watch them work and perhaps buy some of their produce
Loads of parking space. Public transport about six times a day each way however none at night
Other Things to Note
There is a film studio named SOLAS about a half mile from our house. When work is in production there we can provide accommodation at an agreed rate for longer stays for people who come and work on set . .
No smoking upstairs in bedroom.
A beautiful house with a lovely room. Lelia took good care of us. She was very friendly and welcoming.
Lieu et accueil très chaleureux. Une maison originale et pleine de vie. Le petit déjeuner était prévu.
Lelia was a very nice host -- had a very nice time in her charming home. We enjoyed chatting with her and her husband over tea in the evening. Breakfast was lovely as well.
One note is that her place would be nearly impossible to find at night - I wouldn't recommend staying there if you aren't able to arrive while it's light out.
We had a perfect stay at Lelia and Mike's place. They were very welcoming and made our arrival very convenient. Lovely people. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty. The area is quiet and relaxing with beautiful surroundings. Would stay here again without hesitation.
The house of Leila is very well located, just near the sea. The room was nice as well as the bathroom. Leila was out for some days so we did not meet her but we had her by phone at our arrival. But we met Snowflake, her dog who is so so nice ! He went with us for walking.
It was our first experience on airbnb and we did not feel very at ease at the beginning alone in the house but for one night it was ok !
Thank you !
We had a great time at Lelia's. The house is so pretty and the view and area are amazing. We had everything we needed and Lelia and her family plus the cats and dog are really friendly***
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I live by the sea in Inverin, Connemara, or as it is known locally Cois Fhairrige.. I spent many years as a handweaver and in recent years i earned a degree in textiles / sculpture here in Galway. We keep an organic garden and also have our own orchard. We spend nearly eight months of the year out and about, working the garden, saving turf, traipsing up and down to the beach which the dog adores, going on rambles, finding artistic inspiration .
