Warm, country home on the coast with great hosts and a lovely breakfast in the morning. Lelia had a wonderful sense of humour and was a pleasure to talk to. The animals around the property were very friendly, especially Snowflake the dog.
Lelia was a very nice host -- had a very nice time in her charming home. We enjoyed chatting with her and her husband over tea in the evening. Breakfast was lovely as well.
One note is that her place would be nearly impossible to find at night - I wouldn't recommend staying there if you aren't able to arrive while it's light out.
We had a perfect stay at Lelia and Mike's place. They were very welcoming and made our arrival very convenient. Lovely people. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty. The area is quiet and relaxing with beautiful surroundings. Would stay here again without hesitation.
About the Host, Lelia
I live by the sea in Inverin, Connemara, or as it is known locally Cois Fhairrige.. I spent many years as a handweaver and in recent years i earned a degree in textiles / sculpture here in Galway. We keep an organic garden and also have our own orchard. We spend nearly eight months of the year out and about, working the garden, saving turf, traipsing up and down to the beach which the dog adores, going on rambles, finding artistic inspiration .
