How to get to the apartment:
The cheapest way from the airport is by Flybus airport shuttle. The Flybus is a direct connection to all arriving and departing flights at Keflavik airport. The Flybus departs from Keflavik Airport 35-40 minutes after each flight and the seats are always guaranteed.
Please find other information such as flybus prices on ((website hidden)) . The drive from the airport Keflavik to Reykjavik takes about 45 minutes. The Flybus stops at BSI which is about a 10 minute walk away from the apartment but the flybus does offer the option, for a little extra fee, to stop at Hotel Óðinsvé which is 1 minute walking from the apartment, so that would probably be the best option for people traveling with luggage.
We are very friendly and hospitable owners so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have further questions.
Look forward seeing you hopefully in Iceland :)

Margaret's place was absolutely brilliant! We felt warm and relaxed in the spacious apartment and it really is the best possible location you could imagine. We loved it!
The host was helpful and the instructions were clear. As promised, the location was great. The apartment was a little worn and could use some cosmetic updates as well as better lighting for reading in the living room and second bedroom.
That said, we loved our stay in Reykjavik
Great apartment, american style adapters included, kitchen had plenty of space, one of the best beds I've ever slept in.
Location is a little far from the center, but still a great tourist location.
Absolutly awesome!!! Could not have picked a better airbnb. Remember, walk out the door, go left, 1 st left is the Main Street. You are that close, so so to walking downtown. And awesome hot water in public houses due to Iceland's use of geo thermal power so take a HOT HOT shower they feel great.. Market within a block for eggs and what not. Coffee shops a block. Great stay !
Great location. Nice comfy place. Great value for money.
The most important thing to us was location, and this place is perfectly located. Minutes walk from all of downtown Reykjavik, we parked our car outside and didn't move it again until we left town. Margret had good communication prior to us arriving, but didn't respond to a question about replacement light bulbs for some that were out (we found some bulbs in an upper cabinet and replaced them ourselves). To be fair, I only sent her a message, didn't try calling or texting. We had a couple of issues with one non-functioning radiator and a slow draining shower, but nothing major and didn't make a big deal about getting them fixed while we were there. Overall, the apartment was clean and served the purpose we were after, which was a warm home base for exploring this fantastic city. If you're looking for a place and location is your main selling point, this is the place for you.
