Our apartment located zip code 101 downtown in Reykjavik, the best possible location, free parking in front of the apartment.
Even though the apartment is in this great location in the heart of the city the street is quiet so guests may sleep without any noise from the main streets.
The 60 m2 apartment consist of an open kitchen and living room, nice bathroom with shower and 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms offer queen size beds, although one is a bit larger then the other in size, the apartment is considered spacious for 2 but can easily suit 4-5 guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the kitchen utensils you need to feel right at home and you should be able to make a nice coffe, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also there will be some condiments, such as sugar, oil, pasta, spices, coffee etc. There is Senseo coffe machine so guests can make themselves great coffe to start their day in the morning. Also included in the price is TV, high-speed wifi, bedding and towels along with the free parking in front of the apartment and streets nearby. There is also a dishwasher in the kitchen.
The check out time is at 12:00 noon and check-in is at 14:00 or later if you wish. This is the general rule but we will take other times into consideration if requested. A lot of flights land early in the morning and if there are no guests checking out you may go straight to the apartment in most cases.
The apartment has a superb location for exploring the city. It is within walking distance of all major attractions.
The apartment is located right next to Skólavörðustígur (30 sec. walking) which has become one of the most popular streets in the city with a great variety of restaurants, designer shops, cafés and bars. On Skólavörðustígur you will also find a nice grocery store (45 sec. walking)
-Laugavegur, known as the main shopping street in Iceland also has a great variety of bars, restaurants, cafés, Icelandic design and gift stores. (4 min. walk)
-Hallgrímskirkja is a church which stands 74.5 meter tall and is one of the landmarks of the city (2 min. walk)

Please look up the web page for opening hours ((website hidden))
-The old harbor is about 10-15 minutes stroll down Skólavörðustíg or Laugavegur the main shopping streets. At the old harbor you can hop on whale watching tour or go sea angling. There are also museums, art galleries nestled in with quality fish restaurants as well as charming cafés.
-Harpa is the Reykjavik’s famous Concert Hall and Conference Centre (10 min. walking)
-BSI or Reykjavik Excursions is 10 minutes walking away. You can take a tour from there to just about any place in the country. Please look at their web page for further information ((website hidden))
How to get to the apartment:
The cheapest way from the airport is by Flybus airport shuttle. The Flybus is a direct connection to all arriving and departing flights at Keflavik airport. The Flybus departs from Keflavik Airport 35-40 minutes after each flight and the seats are always guaranteed.
Please find other information such as flybus prices on ((website hidden)) . The drive from the airport Keflavik to Reykjavik takes about 45 minutes. The Flybus stops at BSI which is about a 10 minute walk away from the apartment but the flybus does offer the option, for a little extra fee, to stop at Hotel Óðinsvé which is 1 minute walking from the apartment, so that would probably be the best option for people traveling with luggage.
We are very friendly and hospitable owners so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have further questions.
Look forward seeing you hopefully in Iceland :)

Otherwise just feel like home, make yourself comfortable and enjoy your stay in the apartment.
The apartment was cute and spacious in a great location. Close to shopping, bars, and restaurants. Also, one of the main hotels is only a block away so you can easily book tours and transportation and have them pick you up there. Perfect for 2 couples or a group of 4 friends. Also Margaret was so accommodating and even helped us out in a bind when our flight got cancelled and had to spend another night in Reykjavik. Would definitely recommend.
Great location. Nice flat. Nothing fancy but well worth what we paid. Enough space for 4 adults. I would definitly recommend it!
The apartment was OK.
Location is amazing, just steps away from main shopping streets and the church. We had a car and there was always a spot somewhere around the block, but sometimes we had to circle around for a bit.
Apartment was warm and cozy, directions to get to it were easy to follow.
However, the apartment itself seemed a bit run down ... tea kettle didn't work, the light over the kitchen table was going on and off all the time, so we just had to keep it off (and stay in the dark) ... kitchen table didn't look clean, there were still crumbs on it ;(( The floor in the kitchen was sticky.
The hosts are super friendly and responsive and looks like their apartment is in high demand ... but it would be nice if they took a day or two to really clean it up. Air freshner wouldn't hurt either.
The apartment is just as described and the location is really great. We found the apartment very comfortable and check-in was easy with the key box outside. Will definitely stay here next time I go to magnificent Reykjavik.
The location of this flat is absolutely outstanding - right next to 'the church'. Can't say enough how great a spot it is.
The flat is nice also - decent beds and reasonable space for 4 people (given that it is a city centre flat). There's just about enough cutlery and pots/pans etc.
The little food provided looked like leftovers from previous users so I wouldn't rely on getting anything in particular except tea, coffee and salt n pepper (we also had half a box of rice, can of baked beans, can of pasta sauce, a 3/4 tub of nutella, mostly empty jar of honey, salt, pepper, and about 20 garlic bulbs).
Wifi was great - fast and reliable. Heating seemed to be on 24/7 so the whole flat was very warm - great sometimes and other times seemed overpowering so we turned the radiators down and opened the windows.
Bedding and whatnot was clean, but the floor wasn't - it was covered in grit and sticky in places. Tried to hoover but it didn't help much.
All in all, a great place to stay and check out Reykjavik - would recommend.
