Interaction with Guests
I always reply to guests immediately and in my absence (whilst travelling myself), my PA Jac deals with all queries guests might have.
Canary Wharf is a very vibrant area with loads of bars and restaurant and great public transport.
The nearest DLR station Crossharbour is only 1/2 minute walk and within 1/2 hour you'll reach Central London.
Other Things to Note
- Wifi access, Samsung Smart TV with Sky TV channels and Bose Bluetooth speaker available.
- I also offer my Volvo C70 convertible for rent whilst I am travelling myself without a car.
- Any guests travelling with their own car can park in the underground secure car park for £10 per 24h to be paid to concierge.
- Intermediate cleaning or change of bedding can also be arranged
1) No shoes are allowed inside the property and definitely NO high heels
2) Rubbish disposal at level -2 for normal rubbish and recycling such as glass, paper, carton, tins,..
3) Smoking is allowed on the 2,962 sq ft Terrace
4) There is a convenient Store Tesco just around the corner and a 24h Asda 5 min walk
5) Please switch off all lights and heating when leaving the Penthouse
A very nice welcome from Adrian at our arrival, late in the afternoon. we discovered an outstanding Penthouse with a breathtaking view on Canary warf's buildings, O2 Arena and Emirate Cable car: A very comfortable, clean, very well designed Penthouse.

Johan's penthouse is absolutely fabulous! It's a very modern and luxurious place with a massive terrace (an oasis of green on the 9th floor in central London) and stunning views over Canary Wharf, including the O2 Arena.
The flat was extremely clean and nicely decorated by Johan's PA Jacqui. Including flowers and everything!
The host even took me to the spa around the corner (where I spent an entire morning) and also invited me for lunch before I left, which was absolutely perfect. Johan is the most enjoyable host I have ever met and I would highly recommend this flat to anyone.
I will certainly come here again: perfect place, perfect hospitality!
Johan made sure everything was perfect and that I didn't need anything on the day of my arrival. Check-in and check-out was flexible which being an entrepreneur meant it did not impact my business activity in London.
The penthouse sits within an excellent residential complex (pleasant, safe and secure). Location-wise transport links are on your doorstep. You can get to Canary Wharf in minutes and anywhere central within half an hour.
The overall standard of this penthouse apartment surpasses your average 5-star hotel. In fact it is the ideal alternative to a hotel in Canary Wharf - better standard of living and better value for money.
The apartment was cleaned regualarly at agreed times. The flatmate during my stay was really nice and friendly (great hair).
It is definately an experience that I would strongly recommend.
The apartement is as on the pictures. The roommates of Johan are extremely friendly and helpful. Johan was not there, but the conversation with Johan by email was prompt and helpful. The area is quiet and well maintained. The connections with DRL-Train is only 18 minutes to London.
Johan's place is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in London, you can't never find anywhere with this price. Even if it sees from my Japanese eyes, the level of his place’s cleanliness is superb. There is everything you need. Well maintenance facilities, convenient transport, shops around the corner, additionally, a super genuine host, what else? He enjoys his guests' company, respecting their privacy. He is a quite considerate person. I also enjoyed a party he held. He made my feeling comfortable among his people. I want to keep his place as my secret though, I can't resist telling this experience to everyone. Again, thank you so much indeed for everything, Johan.
Johan is the perfect Air B&B host. He is able to anticipate his guests needs and everything you could wish is there when you arrive. He is generous and caring and really enjoys being a host--he is interested in his guests and it was a pleasure to meet a number of Johan's friends. The flat is very well situated and the comfort level is very high.
I can't imagine a hotel providing what Johan offers--and no hotel has his level of enthusiasm.
