Very clean, new and modern apartment building. Angelina was really nice and her son Renzo is little rascal :) The picture is not exactly the the view from the window because there are apartment buildings in front of it, but you can see manhattan and the chrysler building and you are really close to the river which is nice to walk along.
The apt includes a very modern pool and gym which was great! very much recommended.
Angeline and her very gracious son made my stay in their home a very pleasant experience. By far the very most clean apartment I have ever stayed in New York. Wow... The bathroom was too very clean. I had the most comfortable sofa/couch to sleep on ever, especially with the very soft blanket that was provided for me. Angeline was always a welcoming host
offering any assistance I may need given the changing weather (snow storm). She was always graciously offering me some coffee or toast in the mornings. Angeline is truly a busy hard working professional with a big heart and a great attitude.
The building itself is very modern with a doorman and at least double paned windows which kept the living room very cozy at night.
I wish you and your son the very best Angeline!
Thanks for an excellent stay in NY.
Angeline is incredibly accommodating and the apartment is STUNNING! I stayed for a few nights while I got setup with my own place in NY, but I may just spend a few night in the future just to escape the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Highly recomended!!!
Great apt, really nice host! The apt is located only couple of blocks from the subway station, one stop to 42nd, Grand Central Station, its new, doorman building. Highly recommended!
As an engineer traveling around the world, going from one hotel to another, i will not be lying saying ill rather stay with Angeline for the weekend than in a five star hotel on times square.
The Apartment is in a really nice neighborhood, its quiet, there is a nice view to manhattan, a park and its very close to the subway going right into the center of manhattan. Next time im going to manhattan i wont even bother looking for something else. Angeline is a good girl.... please be good to her...
Accommodation is a couch in the living room, but it is super comfy, the sheets are uber soft and Angeline and her well-behaved adorable son make sure it is very quiet in the morning! I regretted I wasn't able to enjoy Indonesian dinner with them given my busy schedule but Angeline is a great conversationalist and gracious host. The area is fun and she even told me about local events like the weekend "LIC Food & Flea", a fun outdoor market by the river walk. Good tip! Overall, a super trip - thanks Angeline!
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I hesitate to leave a review because I liked this apartment so much and hope it will be available on my next trip to NY. Lovely views, stylish building, great Long Island City neighbourhood and just one quick subway stop from midtown.
Great apartment in a fantastic location. Angeline's apartments is a nice and clean with great views of Manhattan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Angeline.
If you want an affordable, convenient, clean, furnished and safe place while in New York, you can't do better than Angeline's home in Long Island City, Queens. As a solo traveler on the go, I only spent minimal time resting and sleeping at the condo, but it's a comfy place where you can make yourself at home. It's only a 5-minute walk to the Vernon Blvd station (subway line 7) and a 1 stop 5-minute ride to Manhattan. Though I wasn't able to meet Angeline in person, all arrangements (key handover via doorman) were without hassle, and we maintained communication via messaging. Was nice to feel like I had a "home" in NYC rather than just a sterile hotel room; the building is quiet and has great amenities (laundry, gym, pool, nearby upscale market). Just steps away from East River promenade with awesome views of Manhattan (night & day). Make sure to ask how to use the big-screen TV (i was too technologically impaired to figure it out on my own!); but when touring NY, who really needs TV? I would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Angeline!
