The Space

This home was recently converted from a spa so it has a really beautiful open feel to it. With high ceilings and massive windows that show off the jungle, national park and pacific ocean.

The home features a 600+ sq. foot covered deck with treetop views of Manuel Antonio national park, and a large yoga deck perfect for relaxing. Don't worry about bringing your yoga mats, they are provided.

The location is the absolute best in Manuel Antonio as you can walk to numerous great restaurants in under 5 minutes. And the beach is less than 5 minutes by car.

Bus service is a 2 minute walk from the house and runs every half hour.

An on site house manager will take care of you during your stay.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at The Loft! The house is great and is very close to the main strip of restaurants in Manuel Antonio as well as the Manuel Antonio National Park and beaches. The house is open and airy and the large balcony was well used by our group of 8. We were easily able fit everyone comfortably into the 5 rooms. The amenities were great: A/C, full kitchen, 3.5 bathrooms, daily maid service and even an unexpected built-in sound system! Maykol was very helpful with tips and suggestions for getting around (we did not have a car) and also booked us our early morning transportation to our next destination. Overall we had a great experience staying at the Loft and would definitely recommend it!

  • Great location - walkable distance to several great restaurants and bars. The place has lots of room! One morning we even woke to monkeys wrestling on the roof! A beautiful spot with a kind host. Highly recommend

  • we found the loft as described 'amazing' we loved it from the first minute we entered the room - we are a family of four and had a great time there. we loved being welcomed by the monkeys - the spacious rooms and terrace - well equipped kitchens - lovely decorations - location (very close to bus station - we did not need a car to go to manuel antonio, quepos, beach ...) a lot of good restaurants in very close neighborhood (falafel bar etc...) Maykol is very friendly and helpful - we tried the mangrove boat trip by night and we will never forget this unbelievable experience with super guides)

  • "Wow" is an understatement! We arrived with our two adult kids (ages 26 & 22) and walked around the loft for an hour in awe, repeating, "wow, this place is amazing". Balconies, spiral stair case, ceramic tile and floors, spaciousness, windows, sound system, A/C, monkeys, it was just incredible. And Maykol was the best host we have ever encountered. He was genuinely committed to ensuring our stay was enjoyable.with outstanding recommendations that proved to be excellent.

  • The loft in Manuel Antonio was great. The best was breakfast with the monkeys. Everyday we saw at least a couple of troops through the trees.

Another highlight was walking across the street to the pizzeria for some night time swimming.

Maykol was great to work with and very responsive to any questions or concerns.

  • We had a great stay at The Loft! Adam was easy to communicate with, from time of inquiry to trip's end. Maykol, the on-site manager, was a fantastic host as well. He doesn't live far and can help with ANYTHING you need, from car service to recommendations to tours and even massage services.

The loft itself is just as spacious as pictured. Clean, with great A/C units. And every morning, around 8:30, we were visited by different wildlife--Capuchin monkeys, Spider monkeys and a sloth! The sound system was awesome--just hook up your iPod, mp3 player or cellphone and it's a snap. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores in the area and the bus stop is just a few steps down the hill. We've already started planning a return trip. Thanks again!

  • All I can say is WOW
The Loft exceeded our expectations. Roomy, private, comfortable, air-conditioned. We were 2 couples and 2 adult teenage children.
The kids slept in a glass room surrounded by jungle, They could monitor the 3 toed sloth in the tree outside their window. Watch squirrel and capuchin monkeys wrestle and play. Marvel at the waterfall produced by the Tropical rainstorm. Hear and see theplants, flowers and creatures that made the jungle their home.
Spa robes, and beach towels for everyone, Yoga mats for enhanced relaxation. Sails are carefully placed to provide privacy but not block the light streaming in the windows of the loft.
The location is awesome, a 285colones bus ride to 3 beautiful beaches at Manuel Antonio Park 2 km away or a 2km walk to Beizans beach for a more intimate experience and snorkeling.
Open air restaurants within walking distance. Fruit that is so fresh the taste lingers for hours, or the traditional beans and rice with eggs, chicken, beef or seafood. All delicious.
Maykol manages the loft and gives excellent advice for tours.
He is easily contacted via email, no need to have phone service.
We did the Horseback riding with Finka Valmy Tours, ATV tour with Fourtrax, Manuel Antonio Nature guide, and best of all the Night Mangrove Tour with Jade tours. All arranged by Maykol.

No need to rent a car,We were picked up at the Loft by air-conditioned vans, most tours included a meal which was delicious and satisfying.
The loft was very reasonably priced and could easily accommodate 4 to 5 couples.
We also used Jaco360 tour company to transfer us from San Jose to Manuel Antonio, included the Zip Line (14 )in Jaco and a stop to see the crocodiles to break up the trip.
Can't wait to go back and do it all again.

  • This is a very nice, informal living space. The rooms are fairly open, but for us it worked well. The signs say spa uno -NOT the Loft. No one knows where the Loft is, so ask for Spa Uno.

Our host Maykol was nice and helpful. The cleaning service every day was great, as is the laundry facilities. towels, etc.

Excellent space for 2 families sharing a vacation.
