A fantastic location in the heart of Marylebone Village, moments from the stylish and eclectic shops of Marylebone High Street and a five minute walk to Oxford Street, this good sized room for one is situated on the third floor of a beautiful period building.

I'm sorry but if you arrive after 22:00 there won't be anyone available to give you access, so you will have to check in the following morning from 09:00.
This is an excellent one person room. It's clean, bright and feels very cozy/homey. There are a number of decorative paintings and picutres on the wall which made me feel happy when I was inside. The rest of the building (shared kitchen and the two shared washroom/showers) are kept very clean. The kitchen itself also provides you will all you need, which is perfect if you want to prepare your own food. During my stay, the other guests were very quiet. There are a couple of signs in the building politely requesting you to respect the other guests, and this seems to work very well. Also, I never had to wait to get into a washroom/shower. Not at night, nor in the morning. The room is not very big, which means that it might not be the best room to do a lot of work in. I did some work with my laptop sitting on the desk that has a tv on it, while sitting on the bed. That works fine as long as you don't want to do that for hours. (There is a chair in the room though, but I didn't try to see whether it fit between the bed and the desk.)
London's subway system is very extensive, and the apartment is easy to reach. From London City Airport you can take the subway to Bond Station which is basically around the corner from the apartment (about 5 min walk). Gatwick Airport has a train connection to Victoria Station from which you can take a single subway line to Oxford Circus Station (about 10-15 minutes walk). And Heathrow Airport has a train connection with Paddington Station, from which you could take a subway, but it's only about a 20 minute walk to the apartment from there.
The apartment is in a beautiful (and upscale) location in London. If you don't mind walking, then tons of the main historic tourist attractions are at walking distance (1 hour). But given the subway system and Bond Station being around the corner, it's very easy to navitage the city in any case.
Communication with Paula is very fast. She always replied to questions quickly.
Good communication with Paula. Excellent location. Lovely room.
Matthew couldn't have been more helpful and saw me to my room when I met him at the property, the room and facilities were clean and other guests friendly. I will need to visit London on an annual basis and look forward to staying again in future
I was greeted within minutes of arrival by Matthew. He showed me around and led me to the room. Everything was fine and great. No problems. I stayed for three nights and was very comfortable. I was on the top floor. It was quiet. It was clean. Exactly what I needed. The wifi worked perfectly so I was able to finish some work projects. The location was perfect to access Marylebone and the tube, so I had no problems getting anywhere. Overall I had a very good experience at the location.
Really nice stay and lovely people even though I didn't see them that much because I wasn't there during the day. The neighborhood is really lovely with shops right around the corner and tubes nearby. The room has everything needed and the bathroom and kitchen are shared but have everything needed too. Really enjoyed it!
The room was perfect for my needs as I was travelling by myself. It was very cosy and comfortable and I had everything I needed for my stay, even a hairdryer!
The location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of the nice part of Marylebone and seconds to everything you'd need including supermarkets, cafés and even an organic produce market just nearby every Sunday morning.
In addition I felt very safe at all times, even when returning by myself at night after a show or dinner with friends - I walked home from Bond St tube station most nights and never felt unsafe. There are a couple of restaurants right outside so there is always good street lighting and people around.
Transport is great with a short walk to Bond St tube station, which is on the Central and Jubilee lines. Also very close to Oxford Circus which also ha connections to Bakerloo and Victoria lines, so you are very well set up to travel pretty much anywhere in London. Also 25-40 min walk to the West End and I often found myself going for the stroll!
Paula was lovely and very helpful and quick to respond to any of my queries at all times. Matthew who is the building manager is also wonderful and very helpful, he even carried my very heavy luggage up the 3 floors of stairs up to my room when I arrived. That's one thing to note, that there are quite a lot of stairs and no elevator (maybe a concern for the less mobile but certainly no problem for the young and fit!)
Shared bathrooms were very basic but fine for their purpose (although on cold mornings I did wish the bathrooms were heated - I'm Australian so I don't do well with the cold!). My room did have its own sink so I could brush my teeth and do makeup etc in my own room which was nice. Also a shared kitchen was handy for breakfasts and basic meal preparation when I needed it.
Overall I had an absolutely great stay here, and I wouldn't hesitate to return next time I do a solo trip to London! Thanks Paula and Matthew, I really enjoyed my time here!
Second time here and found it relatively clean and very, very convenient. Close to tube, shops, theatre district, shopping - can't beat that. Paula and Matthew are uncomplicated, friendly and helpful. Great short stay accommodation.
What a great experience! My flight was delayed and Matthew waited to let me in and help me get settled. Great communication before I arrived, and once I got into London. Very clean, quiet, and a fantastic location, right near the action of Oxford St. I'd definitely stay again.
I've had a great time there. The apartment is in a perfect location ,3minutes walk from the oxford street.everywhere in this apartment is really clean and they have everything you need there.the shawer is great .the heat in the room works very well. Matthew is very patient he will tell you everything in details .I totally enjoy my stay there.
The location of this room is superb, right in the center of bustling and somewhat ritzy Marylebone. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest tube station (which runs the Jubilee and Central lines). For the location, it is hard to beat the price I think!
The room and other facilities were fine but nothing to write home about. The room (I stayed on the top floor; note that you have to walk up several flights of stairs) itself was decent sized, especially if you don't plan to spend much time in it. My room had a sink which was really nice, The room also has a nice heater which does a fine job (I stayed in January). The bed was okay - a dorm-style single, with thin mattress and no box spring (wood slotted bed frame). I had no issue sleeping, but if you are looking for luxury, you will be disappointed.
Unfortunately, the hallways and bathrooms are not heated, which made leaving my room to use the restroom at night and in the morning pretty unpleasant. Especially since I had to truck down a flight of stairs to get there.
The shared kitchen facilities (which are on the top floor) were nice to have (and included microwave, toaster, mini-fridge, stove and oven as well as dishes and flatware). I was able to purchase some breakfast items and therefore save some money on eating out.
There are two shared bathrooms, each with a shower. I never ran into another guest while I was there, so I never had to wait for any of the facilities.
You are given a key to the front door and a separate key for your room, so all of your belongings can be locked up securely.
Everything (rooms and bathrooms) seemed clean.
I never met Paula but was greeted by Matthew when I arrived late in the evening. He was very friendly and showed me to my room. I didn't see him again until the day before check-out when he informed me that I could leave my keys in the room and the door unlocked when I left.
Overall, it was a good deal for the area. Not luxurious (more like a hostel than a hotel or even a flat rental), but was more than satisfactory as a place to rest my head at night. If you are on a tight budget but want a good location, I'd definitely recommend this room rental.
