Interaction with Guests
I leave the house at 630 AM to work for severely disabled kids and don't return until about 5/6 PM depending what I need to do during the afternoon. As an employee of the public school system, I don't have access to my cellphone or internet during school hours. This means I won't be able to return messages until I'm off work. I'm usually around in the evening to socialize. I go to bed between 9-11 PM usually so I can be alert for the kids during the day.

It was a quick stay in a home with people who were inviting and friendly! It felt more like living at home with a large family than travelling. It was enjoyable and I'd definitely stay there again.
Jocelyn was real nice and way down to earth. The house is awesome. If you dont mind staying and being around a bunch of ppl this place is great. Everyone is real friendly and it is like a small family here. I stayed 2 weeks I liked it so much. Totally would come back
Good experience staying at Jocelyn's place. Enjoyed everyone I met that was also staying there. She was very welcoming as was everyone else. Room was just what I needed and enjoyed that the bathroom was connected. Plenty of space in the house to work, stretch out, hang with other guests, and cook and eat. I would stay here again without hesitation.
This house was great! It's well run, conveniently located, and very friendly too. It's a good place to stay if you've got some business or errands in SF. Thanks again Jocelyn!
I had a great experience at Jocelyn's place. It was exactly as advertised. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonable place to stay while meeting great people at the same time.

Hi! I'm Jocelyn. Besides running this hacker house I am a special needs teacher in a severe to moderate classroom, run a kids hacker day camp, and am taking computer science classes. I've taught all kinds of kids all kinds of skills, from computers to daily living to swimming. Some of my long-term goals include starting a home-based preschool, use social networking to connect professionals in the entrepreneurial fields, maker fields, and educational fields to create long-term changes in our educational system, especially for those in Early Childhood Education, those with disabilities, and those of lower Socio-Economic status communities. I've started this house to bring Hackers, Entrepreneurs, Educators and basically anyone who is interested in making the world a better place for our future generations.
