About This Listing
Our cosy studio consists of one open space including a bedroom area, living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Close by there are shops, cafes and two big parks. The studio is in a quiet family builduing and only a 10min walk from downtown.
We are a Spanish-Bulgarian family and you are welcome to stay in our cozy and modern studio in Sofia when we are not there. It consists of one open space which includes the bedroom area, living/dining area and the kitchen. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a toilet with shower.
It is ideal for couples and small families (with a baby or a kid, as we have sofa-bed and we can also provide a crib). Single travelers enjoy a special price; we have both done lots of traveling on our own and we know how unfair it is to have to pay full fare for single occupancy.
The studio is in Lozenets, a nice neighborhood very close to the city center. There are food shops, including a Bio supermarket, a 24-hour supermarket, several greengrocer's stalls, a coffee shop with really nice pastry and cakes just next to our entrance, two pharmacies and several restaurants nearby. There are also two parks close by - 'gorata' (the forest) is a less cultivated but very refreshing for a short walk and some clean air and 'Borisovata gradina' (Boris's park) which is a really big and well maintained park with all kinds of sport facilities (the two main stadiums, Levski and CSKA, are also there), children's playgrounds and a wide range of eating possibilities on offer - hotdog vendors, fast food, cafes and restaurants, is a ten- minute walk away.
The tram stop (all trams go to the city center, no chance to get lost :)) is a minute away. To get the metro or bus (connecting to most parts of town) you either need to take the tram for one stop or walk 10min. You can park for free in the street (the green zone ends one street below).
One thing to be taken into account, in case you bring a heavy suitcase, is that the studio is on the 4th floor and there isn't an elevator.
We believe that as long as you take care of everything as if it were yours, show common sense and respect for the neighbors (it is a family house and the neighbors are predominantly older people) and enjoy your stay as much as you can, everything will be OK.
We provide a small leaflet with some instructions (Internet, TV Cable, washing machine, etc.) and some tips about Sofia. You can also always reach us by email should you be uncertain how something works or if you have a question regarding Sofia.
Enjoy your time in Sofia!
This is the place I go to when in Sofia! I've been there several times already. It's cozy, clean, central - it's perfect! Recommended!
I had a great experience staying at the apartment for 1 week. It is very comfortable and well equipped. Made it very easy to work in, or go out for a coffee around the area. It is also easy to tram or walk to the city centre. It took me about 25 mins to walk in at a fairly slow relaxed pace. It also has a few grocery stores and markets around, which we very friendly and easy to purchase some basic supplies.
All in all a great apartment in a very convenient location. Would definitely stay there again when I come back to Sofia.
Lovely little studio, clean and in a good area. Easy to find and walk to the city centre. Comfortable bed and anything else you may need. Would stay again!
We really enjoyed our stay at Teodora's apartment! Everything was perfectly fine: the bed is comfy (also for 2 people), everything is super clean and new as well as perfectly equipped. Teodora provides fresh bed linens, towels and even shampoo, hair dryer, iron, umbrella etc. Her mum gave us the keys and showed us the apartment, so we didn't meet Teodora in person. Nevertheless, she always responded immediately to our mails.
Perfect host and apartment! Highly recommended!
Thanks, Teodora! :)
The studio is located close to the city center with all comfort and facilities. A grocery is around the corner and several restaurants are in walking distance. I am sure every guest will enjoy the stay there...oh and one more detail: do not carry the umbrella with you, because Teodora has thought to leave one for you in her studio. For sure next time I travel to Sofia, I will go the same place. Thank you Teodora for sending me the forgotten scarf.

About the Host, Teodora
I am a Bulgarian dividing my time between Sofia, Bulgaria (where I am a university lecturer) and Barcelona, Spain (where my family lives). I love travelling and after years of home exchanging we have now started Airbnb-ing :) Currently I dedicate most of my time to our toddler daughter and baby boy but in the rare hours of free time I love to read a book, go swimming, experiment with new dishes in the kitchen or watch a movie.
