About This Listing
My gorgeous large studio is located in Dupont Circle neighborhood, arguably the best neighborhood in DC, with a great mix of housing and retail, good connections to the city’s transportation network, and proximity to downtown. The area is very walkable, and it shows: 38% of Logan Circle residents walk all the way to their jobs... I am sure the rest ride their bikes. There is a park close by and everything is at hand, from a hardware store to CVS, gardening, bike store, bookstores, grocery stores, yoga, restaurants, banks, and much more!
THE STUDIO: The apartment is very well distributed with lots of light and beautiful 10-foot ceilings, about 400 square foot in size. It is on the third floor, is very comfortable (has a full-size bed and a full-size sofa bed for guests). Also it has a spacious closet, antique hardwood floors, and a beautiful bathroom (with a large bathtub), Comcast high-speed Internet and a small TV. You also have lovely views from the apartment onto historic Victorian townhouses in the area. It is very nicely fully furnished as I have put some time and effort to decorate it and make it home. I would like to host people that are caring and appreciate my place. The people at the building are really nice and it is calm. There is great space in the basement for keeping your bicycle safe (as in DC bikes tend to have a short term life span...) I enjoy much doing my laundry at Swift cleaners in 17 and R or at MacDee cleaners at 1408 P Street.
NEIGHBORHOOD: The neighborhood is very safe, convenient, trendy, yet quiet. There are many art galleries, high-end furniture and home goods stores, great restaurants and bars, organic food stores, yoga, and lounges with nice terraces for having a drink after work, etc. Also, the 14th Street corridor is just one block away with some of the best restaurants, music halls, clubs, and other cool hangout places of the city. Also, on P Street, there is a Whole Foods market, a hardware store, a Wells Fargo bank, any many other stores and restaurants.
TRANSPORTATION: For metro access, the place is 5 blocks to McPherson Square (blue/orange), 6 blocks to Dupont Circle or 7 to Farragut North (red), and 6 blocks to Shaw/Howard or 7 to U Street (green). You also have the circulator (bus) that takes you straight downtown, but also connecting Logan Circle and Adams Morgan by way of U Street. In addition, the 52/53/54 buses run pretty frequently along 14th Street, connecting the neighborhood to Columbia Heights, Downtown, and L’Enfant Plaza. Also, a large number of ZipCar stations are close by and a Capital bikeshare station is at 14th Street and Rhode Island Avenue.
Thanks and enjoy!

Alexandra's place was perfectly located for me. It is in a very nice neighbourhood, shops and restaurants are close by, as well as two bikeshare stations, which allowed for an easy ride into the office downtown. The corner studio is light with high ceilings and clean, the bed very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and would come again.
Alexandra's place was just like the picture! Bright airy, and immaculate. Amazing location right in the middle of trendy Northwest DC neighborhoods yet on a clean quiet street filled with adorable row houses and blossoming trees. Her unit has the charm of an older building with hardwood floors and a black and white tile bathroom. The kitchen is small (as expected) but I ate all my meals out so I didn't really notice. Speaking of eating out, her place is SO SO convenient to tons of amazing restaurants in Logan Circle, U Street and DuPont Circle neighborhoods-- not to mention metro stations and bus lines to go anywhere in the city. I didn't meet Alexandra in-person but the key exchange was quick and easy. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to DC! Thank you!
Alexandra's place was exactly as described. It was in a cute neighborhood and convenient to walking (about 20 minutes) to the White House and the National Mall. Clean space, comfortable bed. She wasn't available to greet us but the person who cleans her space was waiting to let us in, and was very patient since our plane was delayed and then we got stuck in traffic because of the Cherry Blossom Festival. It was easy to communicate with both Alexandra and her contact prior to our arrival.
I will say the upstairs neighbor stayed up to about midnight/1 am on the weekend and woke up around 6 am on Monday morning - they were not noisy by any means but I could hear their footsteps. So if you need absolute quiet to sleep, earplugs would be good.
Liked having an assortment of bath products in the shower, and the bottle of fragrance-free organic lotion from Whole Foods was nice, since I always to forget to pack little things like that. We'd stay here again if we visit DC in the future!
We had a great stay at Alexandra's apartment. The apartment is clean and had everything we needed. She was more than welcoming when we arrived, offering suggestions for where to hang out and shop in the neighborhood.
The location is walkable to much of DC, and a few minutes from multiple Metro stations and bus routes to get you beyond.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Alexandra's apartment. She was very responsive to our needs and met all of our expectations. It was our first time using an Airbnb and was a positive experience. The location cannot be beat and the space itself was generous. We would definitely stay there again.
Alexandra's place was priced fairly and was in an ideal location for us, as it was close to our friends' apartments and to 14th street, which has amazing restaurants. We visited DC over Spring Break and this apartment was cheaper than any hotel we could find. The apartment looks the same as the photos. The kitchen and bathroom are quite small, but for two people, they are adequate. We prepared breakfast in the apartment each morning to save time and money but besides that, didn't spend much time here. There were a few things that surprised us (no sponge or washcloths, half-used bar of soap in shower, and shower didn't drain). That said, the positives outweighed the negatives. The location is great, Alexandra is very responsive, and the apartment was clean. I recommend staying here if you're looking for a budget-friendly apartment.
A well located apartment in DC. The only issue was that the sink and bath didn't drain very well.
