  • We had a wonderful stay in Heather's home. It's very comfortable, and lovely. The neighbourhood is quiet and a nice walk to town or the water. I would definitely recommend it.

  • Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay in Heather's house. The house felt really light, spacious and airy and was very clean. It is a lovely house with a lot of character and style. The house has a lovely terrace accessed from the main bedroom which looks over the back garden. We really enjoyed sitting there when it was sunny, we were very lucky with the weather in Victoria. The area is really nice and peaceful as well and very close to the coast. I would recommend walking from town along the coastal path but it is also quite a short walk along Fairfield Road to the town centre. There are some useful shops nearby on Fairfield Road past the cemetary and Cook Street Village nearby is really worth a visit. There are several restaurants and a deli. We really liked Bubby's Kitchen. This was my first time in Victoria and I really loved the place - staying in such a nice house really helped my overall experience of Victoria. I would recommend anyone coming to Victoria to stay here.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at the Bright Fairfield Character home. The house was outfitted with everything we needed (it was especially helpful because we were traveling with our 1 year old) and nicely designed. The house is shared with a downstairs tenant who was very quiet. We were definitely louder than her. The neighborhood was pleasant and quiet yet close to everything by car.

  • Lovely house, especially with young children. Play room, leafy suburb with lots of parks and the waterfront a short stroll away. Everything close by but a car is very useful. Great stay.

  • An absolutely charming home with a very welcoming neighborhood. We stayed a full week with a toddler who couldn't get enough of the playroom below and our newborn slept great in the provided crib. We felt very relaxed and at peace in this home full of character. Highly recommended!!!

  • Lovely place to stay, having breakfast on the deck to enjoy the sunshine. Very convenient location, you can walk to downtown (about 20 or 25 minutes), or take the bus #7. Fairfield is a charming neighbourhood, there is a market on Saturdays, a delicious fish and chips on Fairfield Rd and on Cook Street you can find restaurants, organic mini market, coffe shops, among other things. We really had a great time in Victoria.

  • Quiet, spacious, in a charming neighbourhood. Walking distance to major attractions - Craigdarroch Castle, Goverment Gardens, Inner Harbour, Beacon Hill Park (great sunset!) - no car needed.

Bus ride to Oak Bay Marina (to feed the seals!) - Daily bus pass 5$ - very convenient.

Best groceries & liquors - Thrifty Foods (St. Charles at Fairfield) . If you're crazy about organic food, head to overprized shops in Cook Street Village.

  • Heather's house is very cute and in a great location! Just a quick drive to downtown and not far from the ocean! Also very close to the Cook Street village and park! Heather also was very quick to reply to any e-mails and made the arrival and departure process very accomodating and easy! Thank you for your hospitality Heather! I would definitely stay here again!
