The Space

2 Bedroom property in the prestigious Kalorama neighborhood of Washington in between Adam's Morgan, Woodley Park and Dupont Circle. It's right next to Kalorama Park which has a trail, benches, and basketball courts. It's also next to 18th Street in Adam's Morgan which has a plethora of restaurants, cafes, shows, tennis courts, and nightlife.

The property is located on the top floor of Kalorama row. It has vaulted ceilings, skylights, a small patio, hardwood floors, marble countertops, steel appliances, two queen sized beds, queen sized air mattress and a large couch, and lots of floor space for DC. It is next to two bikeshare stations while the White House is a 25 min walk away, Dupont circle is 10 min away, the Zoo is 10 min away along with their respective metro/subways stations.

The neighborhood is quiet yet close to many restaurants and nightlife in Adam's Morgan and Dupont Circle. It is in between the Woodley Park/Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle metro stations as well as a number of buses within a few blocks.

PLEASE CHECK the CALENDAR for availability and pricing. My flatmate and I travel quite a bit so there are three possibilities.

1. MOST LIKELY: If both of us are here, the living room with a large couch is available (~$80 per night)

2. If one of us is gone, 1 private bedroom with a queen bed is available in addition to the living room (~$95 per night)

3. If both of us are gone, the whole apartment is available. (~$190 per night)

The prices will reflect the differences. We also take a lot of last minute trips so there's a chance that you may have a bedroom even if you booked for the living room. Feel free to inquire!

*Given that my flatmate sometimes come home late, the place is probably not suitable for families (parents, children).

My housemate Mak and I are super international and would prefer likeminded people who are open and fun. We may invite you to parties, have you come out with us, and explore the local side of DC.

Guest Access

Our home is your home! Help yourself to anything in the fridge and open bottles we have.

Interaction with Guests

We love making our guests feel at home. If time and opportunity permits, we're happy to invite them to local activities, parties, etc.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood is very charming as no two homes are exactly alike. There's easy access to Rock Creek Park which has great nature trails and it is next door to Kalorama Park. The area was built during the 1920's so all the homes are quite interesting and beautiful. 18th St one block away is a center of restaurants, nightlife, and activities. There are also lots of neat restaurants on Columbia street as well as Kalorama park next to the condo.

Getting Around

DC is a compact, walking friendly city. You can walk to the White House in less than 30 minutes, most of it downhill. The L2 and 43 buses take you right by the White House in about 10 minutes, while the 42 can take you all the way to Metro Center which is close to Chinatown, the Portrait Gallery, Verizon Center and the mall. The house is located halfway between the Dupont Circle and Woodley Park metro stations and there are 3 Bikeshare stations within 3 blocks (highly recommended way of getting around).
