About this listing

The space

In the heart of Paris you will find a bright and lovely two rooms flat with a charming large terrace.
The building used to be an hotel and this apartment was the suite so it's the perfect "pied à terre" for your stay in Paris!
When opening the door you feel the sunlight pouring through the windows of the living area furnished with a dj booth with vinyls players and a table with two chairs.
The small kitchen has all the facilities required to feel at home.

The bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and there is a large dressing cabinet in the room. The bathroom has a comfortable bathtub.

Both rooms give access to the terrace which is the real bonus of this flat with it’s romantic atmosphere where meals can be taken around a table and chairs, in the mornings for breakfast or in the evenings for diner not forgetting lunches.

The area is very trendy and “à la mode” with welcoming bars and French brasseries and restaurants as well as Japanese or Koreans.
The apartment is well located and it is easy to get around the city with a 2 minutes walk to the subway station or bus lines to take you to the many wonderful locations Paris can offer.

Livia was very quick to respond to my needs, and her comfortable and charming place was just right for both my work space and quiet sleep. I recommend the neighborhood for anyone who wants one of the quieter arrondisements away from touristy crowds. Bus # 86 will take you anywhere.

Livia's small apartment was located in the beautiful Marias neighborhood, just a few blocks away from the metro. It was pretty small, with two main rooms (a couch bed in one, and a queen bed in the other). The terrace provided a nice escape from the small living quarters. We stayed in August, so it was quite warm with no AC. But being able to open the large doors to terrace at night helped. The kitchen and bathroom were both quite small. There was some mold on the bathroom ceiling and shower curtain, which made me feel a little uneasy about staying at the apartment so long. I think that as long as you don't plan on spending your days inside the apartment (and why would you when you are in Paris?) the place is fine for sleeping in. If I was to stay again, it would be for no longer than a few days.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and in a great location - easy access to multiple metros. Several bike shares within walking distance as well. The terrace was amazing - great place to hang out any time of the day or night. Very quiet - we slept perfectly every night. Great neighborhood, especially if you want to live like a local. Lots of cafes, bars and markets nearby. But the touristy area is still easily accessible by metro or bike. Livia met us at check-in, walked us through everything. Very easy! She even checked in on us a few times, and offered many recommendations. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend.

We found this apartment to be ideally placed for our stay in Paris. It is very comfortable and conveniently located and we really enjoyed having the terrace area to relax on. The metro is a short walk and the 11th is such a wonderful part of Paris to stay in, especially if you want to live like a local and not get caught up in the tourist hyperactivity. I would highly recommend staying here.

Nice place. Very convenient neighborhood, close to transportation, markets and bars. The balcony is amazing. The apartment is a one bedroom on the second floor and very quiet, good for sleeping. The Green Goose Irish pub next door is great. They are very friendly and imagine they would offer help if you need assistance navigating Paris in English. As they say in French, this apartment "a un bon rapport entre qualite et prix."

Livia and her mother Sonia make a great team. They were welcoming, considerate, kind, friendly, informative, and responsive. The apartment is on the first floor (not the ground floor) and there is a lift. It is a rather small apartment, consisting basically of two rooms and a bathroom, with a tiny kitchen area. If three people stay there for any length of time, two of them probably should be sleeping together and they all should be good friends. But it is a neat, clean, nicely appointed little place, and the porch is wonderful, as the picture indicates. It catches the morning light, which comes into the apartment through large glass doors that provide access from each room to the porch. We sat out there every morning, planning the day's activities, and every evening before going to bed. The neighborhood is quiet, considering that it's just a couple of blocks away from Place de la Nation, with a handful of decent places to eat in the immediate vicinity and - this being Paris - many more choices within an easy walk. It's not an upper class neighborhood by any means, but it is a pleasant one, a bit on the funky shabby side. There's a wine bar that seems to be very popular with local twenty somethings just a couple of doors down, and two artisan boulangeries within a hundred yards, and a laundromat, and a grocery store - pretty much everything the traveler could need is right at hand. For collectors of expensive Korean dolls, there's a store that sells them just down the block. I'm not such a person, but it was fun to stop in and chat with the clerk. The price for all of this was very reasonable when I stayed there with my daughter in late September 2014. I would not hesitate to book this apartment again on my next visit to Paris, if it were available.
