In the heart of Paris you will find a bright and lovely two room flat with a charming terrace.
When opening the door you feel the sunlight pouring through the windows of the living area furnished with a convertible sofa and a “large” bureau.
The small kitchen has all the facilities required to feel at home.
The bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and there is a large dressing cabinet in the room. The bathroom has a modern and comfortable bathtub.
Both rooms give access to the terrace which is the real bonus of this flat with it’s romantic atmosphere where meals can be taken around a table and chairs, in the mornings for breakfast or in the evenings for diner not forgetting lunches.
The area is very trendy and “à la mode” with welcoming bars and French brasseries and restaurants as well as Japanese or Koreans.
The apartment is well located and it is easy to get around the city with a 2 minutes walk to the subway station or bus lines to take you to the many wonderful locations Paris can offer.
The proximity of Livia's apartment to the Nation metro station made staying here so convenient. You can travel anywhere in the city either directly via one of the lines at Nation or with few transfers. The apartment itself is quant and modestly decorated with cute French decor. It's in a very quite location and the terrace makes for a very nice bonus. My husband and I would definitely consider stay here again. Booking was a breeze and Livia's mother provided us with stellar arrival details. All in all it was a great stay!
This apartment was lovely, everything I expected. Livia's mother gave me clear instructions on how to get into the apartment and welcomed me warmly there. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. It is very close to Nation metro which connects many different lines - very convenient.
Die Wohnung liegt sehr gut, nicht weit entfernt von der Haltestelle Nation. Für 2-3 Personen ist sie ideal und sie hat einen sehr schönen Balkon. Auf den Fotos wirkt die Wohnung größer als sie ist.
We can easily recommend this little Paris apartment.
Top of the list is its location. It is located in a quiet street but just five minutes from two metro stations (Nation and Rue de Boulets). It is also on a bus route (Number 86) straight into the centre, which is only 20 minutes away.
You can easily walk to the flat from Nation. (Follow the direction of the lit-up canon on a sign on top of the Canon Restaurant -- that points you down the right street to start you off, then turn right when you reach the yellow awning at “Cod of the Kitchen” restaurant.)
Next to recommend this apartment is its security. There are two door entry systems with codes, and a conciergerie who lives on the ground floor and keeps the place spotlessly clean. You feel very safe here.
The apartment itself is clean, quiet and very peaceful. We loved the easy chairs which were very comfortable for reading in the evening, and the large windows which made the place bright and airy. It sleeps two very comfortably. Our son joined us for the weekend from London, and he slept on the “sofa” (another bed) which he found comfortable. The lovely little balcony out the back makes it all feel very French. You could have your breakfast out there in summer.
The kitchen is small (only one person at a time) but adequate. You won’t be spending that much time in there anyway – there are so many nice places in Paris to eat out fairly cheaply.
There are many useful little shops nearby, including a small supermarket (Franprix) on a nearby corner and a couple of bread shops.
Livia is often out of Paris for work, but her mother, Sonia, made us feel very welcome. She was waiting for us with a pot of coffee, and took time to explain everything we needed to know. Top marks.
We would happily stay here again.
One final plus point -- you can also get a local bus (number 351) directly from Paris Airport CDG to Nation. Get the bus at Terminal 2D (the stop is the furthest one to the right). This journey costs only three metro tickets (around 4 or 5 Euros). We bought a carnet of ten at the machines in the railway station, or you can pay the driver directly. Both are much cheaper than the airport bus or train, the journey takes an hour, and you will see some of Paris on the way in.

Livia's apartment in Paris was a great choice to stay. Well located (near the Nation square). The apartment is small, but perfect for a couple. Livia's mother (Sonia) was who received us. She was very kind and helpful, waiting us with a coffee. She also show us directions, and recommended good places to eat near the apartment. She speaks english very well, and reply your e-mails very fast too. So, I recomend.
Great neighborhood, very close to the metro station, felt very secure.
Very cosy Parisian appartment. Really nice and welcoming host.Well decorated and clean. Close to the subway. It is situated in a great neighborhood with very nice&affordable restaurants and bars you will find on every single streetcorner. We really had a great time here.
The terrace must be fantastic in summertime- it is larger than it looks on the picture, the appartment is a bit smaller than it looks on the pictures(but very Parisian I think), but we stayed with the 3 of us and it was great!
Even stuff for breakfast is provided :-)
If we have to give some suggestions/critic: The bed is rather small (140x200 cm) and not a ''king size bed' as discribed.
