Two rooms are very large, bright, beautiful and cozy and are connected by sliding doors available for your stay. Fully renovated private bathroom is also serene, and kitchen is fully stocked. You can also soak up the sun in the back yard or enjoy the time on the hammock on a nice day while surfing the web or listening your music with wi-fi access. Or simply relax in the comfortable living room. All for your enjoyment. Overall, this is a very special place full of history and warmth.

Muni is only a block and a half away. Restaurants and bars close by, and Baker Beach and Palace of Legion of Honor are both nice stroll away. Golden Gate Park and the Bridge and Presidio are all very close.

You can expect warm welcome, yummy breakfast, and comfortable peace and quiet.

  • We had a great week staying at the Arts and Crafts Hideaway, a beautiful house with really interesting details! The room is huge and there is plenty of room to spread out. Also, the bed is really comfortable.

YuSun is a great host and had wonderful suggestions. The breakfast nook area had great sunshine in the morning and was a perfect way to start our day.

We had no problem finding parking for our rental car on the street overnight. Without a car, we also easy access downtown by using Uber and the Geary St. bus (although, admittedly we only took it once).

It was an easy 25 minute walk to the De Young Museum and the California Academy of Sciences and gave us the time to really explore Golden Gate Park.

Would totally love to say at the Arts and Crafts Hideaway again!

  • YuSun's house was incredible, I had a great stay for a few days there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others heading to San Francisco. It's also in a great part of (email hidden)ly area but still fairly detached from the busiest parts of downtown - the best5 of both worlds! As a host, YuSun was great, although we didn't get to speak much, she was helpful pre and on arrival, welcoming and the breakfast spread was fantastic!

  • Nette Gastgeberin, die ein reichhaltiges Frühstück (Müsli, Marmelade, Kaffee, Tee, Milch, Joghurt, viel frisch geschnittenes Obst). Inneneinrichtung ist schön und geschmackvoll. Ruhige Wohngegend, in der überwiegend Chinesen leben. Restauraunts, Lebensmittelläden und Bus ist nahe (150m).

  • This was our first AirBnB experience, so with much trepidation we tried it. Our hostess, YuSun, was accessible, accommodating, and gracious. Her place is just beautiful, 100 year old house in immaculate condition! There is lots of room and with four of us, we had both privacy and family time. We felt right at home. Being from New York, we appreciated having some space. The neighborhood is perfect to get to parks, etc. We were in town, specifically, for a wedding, so not too much time for sight seeing. Some family members also used AirBnB and we got to see where they were staying. Our place was bigger, nicer, cleaner, and as great a location.

  • YuSun was a wonderful host! Her house is absolutely gorgeous! Her 'one' bedroom was so spacious, and was actually half of the upstairs. My sister, mother and I stayed there, and had more than enough space for all our belongings and selves.
We woke up to fresh fruit and yogurt every morning, and YuSun was very patient explaining everything at least 3 times (remember there were 3 of us). She gave wonderful suggestions of places to see/eat/visit and they were all perfect.

    You should definitely stay here!

  • Wij hadden 2 kamers, van elkaar gescheiden door een schuifdeur, in deze rustige straat. Het was een prettig verblijf en raden deze B&B zeker aan.

  • We – mother and farther and our grown up son - stayed at YuSuns place for two weeks and we had a wonderful time.
The two seperate rooms was perfect. Lot of space and everything were so clean and nice. When you stay at the same place for such a long time, it is important that you feel at home – and we certainly did - all because of YuSun.
She is genuine interested in hearing about who you are, and why you are there – very friendly curious. It feels very good.
Furthermore, YuSun prepared us a delicious breakfast – and gave us lots of useful information about SF and the surroundings.
Every day we took the bus downtown; it takes about ½ an hour, and whether you take line 1 from California or 38 from Geary you end up places you like to be, so it is very easy. It is actually nice to leave the busy town and go "home" at night to a quieter place.
We found everything we needed in the very neighborhood - restaurants and markets.
Before we arrived we mailed with YuSun, and our correspondence made us sure that everything would be absolutely fine – and so it was.
If we ever go to SF again, what we probably will do - as our daughter lives in SF at the moment, we will absolutely do what we can to stay at "Arts and Crafts Hideaway"

  • YuSun is an AWESOME host. she is super friendly and beyond accommodating. The place is very clean and in a very convenient location for a long, beautiful, but HARD/hilly run in Presidio Park (right near GG bridge) Not only do I want to stay here again, I kind of want to be her pal!! thanks again YuSun!!

About
Hello! I'm YuSun and I've lived in San Francisco for 18 years so I can almost claim myself to be a native. I love traveling and exploring here and abroad...It's been over a year since I returned from traveling from Asia to Europe so I'm itching to get back out there, and proud to have been to all 7 continents! And I love rock climbing (indoor mostly, but enthusiastically go outdoors whenever I get the chance) so if you like that sort of things, we will definitely get along. I'm friendly and easy going kinda gal and love making my home a place of welcome for all my friends and friends I haven't met yet. I hope I can welcome you here.
