About this listing

The recently refurbished accommodation comprises a small porch, opening into a modern kitchen/living area complete with wood burner. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom sleeping a maximum of 5 with 1 double, 1 twin (which can be a double) and an overflow double sofa bed in the living room area. The property benefits from a small private terrace and garden.
The cottage annex forms part of a large listed property, once occupied by the owner of one of the local mills. The cottage part of the house is believed to be about 400 years old in contrast to the more 'modern' Georgian West Wing of the house added around 1820 by the mill owner. Note: Also lovely 2 bed/2 bath Loft available.
You'll have your own small private garden plus one parking place.
Interaction with Guests
We're usually on site and around if you have any questions or want to borrow DVDs or games. However, it's up to you how much you see us - if you want to be left alone, then you might not see us at all!
It's a truly beautiful part of the world and I'm not just saying that because I'm biased. Fantastic for walkers and sight-see'ers and you can enjoy much of what's on offer without even getting into your car. Although there's also lots to see a short drive away too.
There's a train from London to Stroud and although there is public transport it's not fantastically well serviced to Chalford. Get in touch and I can advise depending on what you'd like to do.
The Cottage is self catering so bring everything you need with you! (linen provided though).
There is 1 double bed; 2 beds that can be singles or zip and linked together to make another double; and a double sofa-bed.
