About This Listing
Radfield House was built in 1925 and over the years it has been extensively refurbished, but it still retains all its original grace and grandeur.
There are two rooms both furnished with quality furniture and good mattresses. Hairdryer, electric blankets, shampoo/conditioner/soaps. There is a small guest lounge with TV, DVD (and movies), CD player (and CDs) also books.
Although less than five minutes from town, Radfield House enjoys quiet seclusion and privacy. The large garden provides a constant supply of flowers for the guest bedrooms, also fruit, vegetables and herbs, and is an ideal spot to enjoy an alfresco breakfast in the sunny courtyard.
We have free tea, coffee and juice available at all times and wireless internet. In winter we have an open fire in the guests dining room where you can enjoy the home made bread, muffins, muesli and jam for breakfast also with fresh fruit and yoghurt.
We have many brochures and information regarding Blenheim, we can also book tours for you.
Anything we can do to help just let us know, we look forward to meeting you.
No set house rules, we just want you to make yourselves at home. No smoking in the house but we don't object to you smoking outside. We also have a dog but she is very friendly.

If paradise on Earth exsists, it must be here! A total experience of being in an old, beautifull house and a warm and friendly feeling being welcomed and taken care of with talk at the fireplace, tastning homemade bread and marmelade, sherry in the bedroom and plenty of space i my own room, Nice and with very high quality. Placed near the air museum and the City center, it simply was a perfect stay, and the hosts just were above all.
Jayne really is the hostess with the mostess! Radfield House is a fantastic place to stay and is one of the must see historical homes of Blenheim.
The breakfast was amazing! Homemade croissants, bread and muffins each day and for Easter Sunday, Jayne even cooked my husband and I a special hot breakfast with a surprise from the Easter Bunny.
She went above and beyond for us and even put up with our very very early morning airshow needs.
The bed was big and very comfortable and the room enormous. Plenty of storage so you could unpack and a tv room with DVDs if we needed to fill in any non-airshow time.
Jayne was a pleasure to stay with and we are already planning our next trip to Blenheim. Thanks again Jayne!
Jayne's the best. My mom and I stayed at the Radfield House for a night and absolutely loved it. She and her husband lent us their bikes and gave us great advice about where to go and what to do in Blenheim, and as the other guests mentioned, the breakfast alone would make the stay worthwhile. If you go, give Kelsey the golden retriever a belly rub, she'll be forever grateful. Thanks again for a great visit.
Beautiful house, wonderful host. Cannot recommend enough. It's easy to skip Blenheim, but that would be a huge mistake: It's got some amazing vineyards and great wine tours.
We spent only a night in this lovely old home, and wish we had stayed longer.
Our hostess, Jayne, was incredibly thorough in delivering high quality service and giving us the local touch to feel at home. She made us an amazing breakfast spread in her lovely dining room - homemade jams, bread and muesli.
The gardens are a great spot to sit out and enjoy some of the local Marlborough wines you pick up on your wine tours. Jayne was kind enough to organize a cheese platter for us and recommended dinner options for us as we sat out enjoying the last summer nights. My sister and her boyfriend adored their family golden retriever -wish we could have taken her home!
