  • We just came back from a 5 days at this paradise cave house! I definitely suggest you this place, there is some downs, but all the ups makes you forget about it!!! First, Niko and Jackie are great host and very helpfull! We were there in february, and we taught it would be cold and cloudy....well the weather was amazing, sunny, warm( 15-20 with a really hot greek sun) and the cave house was warm and comfy! Even if almost everything was closed because we were off season, we just felt that we had the island for us, and made us discover very authentic places that locals enjoys. UP: The view is 1000 time better than the pictures, the terrace was by far the greatest we saw in all our stay, the cave house is near from the center of Oia (cutest city) and just as far to have privacy.Great internet connection! Really clean! DOWN: The shower was a challenge for us; manage the hot water, not so much pressure, you have to hold it while your trying to wash your hair (a shower hook would make the difference). The bed was not that comfortable and I am personally allergic to dust and had to take allergic pills all trip long during the night. Oia is a town about 15-20 minutes by car away from the next city, rent a car is kind of necessary if you want go around and really discover the secret spots of the island, especially during the winter, because there is not a lot of restaurant open in Oia. Enjoy Santorini and you wont be disappointed with this cave house!

  • The good: Great view. Sunny front room considering it is a "cave." Great large umbrella on the patio to shelter the picnic chairs, believe me you'll need it in the hot Grecian sun. Jackie is super nice and greeted us with lots of info to provide. She also allowed us to check out super late which was awesome. Porters to help you carry things to the house. The not-so-good: Ventilation is poor, probably true in every cave house though. But there was a really good dehumidifier to help. The bathroom is in a poor state, dark and generally older. The kitchen is tiny and gets super hot due to no ventilation. OK for making some soup and salads though.

  • This is the place to stay if you want to wake up and walk out to some of the most beautiful views in the world. The perfect place for travelers that want a no nonsense, clean, functional and cozy place to stay - while in paradise. Jackie and Nikos were fantastic hosts and I will recommend this place to any like minded traveler. The location is perfect - far enough away from the throngs of daily cruise ship tourists that come in daily by bus (I affectionately refer to them as locusts) but so close to everything that makes Oia an amazing and relaxing vacation place. My advice is to stay here if you can make the time. You will not regret the decision.

  • Me and my other 3 friends so MUCH enjoyed staying at Blue Sky Casa for 4 days. Jackie met us in Oia and escorted us to the house. The view from the house is simply breathtaking. House is beautiful and has everything for a comfortable stay and basic things to cook your own meals. We enjoyed eating on the patio, because of the amazing views. Cleaning personnel was great as well! I seriously can not think of a better place to stay in Oia! I just wish to go back:)

  • The view is breath taking and lives up to all the photos and previous comments already posted. The bedroom and kitchen are basic but have everything you might need.

  • I stayed 4 nights here (called Blue Sky). The location is in the central Oia, and right next door of blue dommed church which most frequent among the Oia villege photos. It means if you go up a few stairs you get the postcard photo. My wife and daughter loved THE view. You don't need to go out to find a scenary, just sitting there on the yellow sunbed in the picture is enough. In fact, lots of tourists stop in front of the Blue Sky and take photos. It's just spectacular!!
But keep in mind... it's in the middle of the cliff, so you climb up/ down the stairs. Also cavehouse is good but a little damp. That is real traditional Santorini habitat and I knew it and liked it as a new experience. However, somebody with baby or disabilty is to be allerted.
Jackey and Nicco(her husband) are nice and professional with hospitality. On the check out day, for instance, I had a midnight ferry to Athens, so he took us to the beach to spend the afternoon and night without luggages and drop us again at the port later. You can count on them!!
