Really really great bnb! The house is clean and warm! Love it! Good view as well! House holders are warmhearted!
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Santorini! The cave house in Oia was the perfect place and conveniently located so that we could catch the amazing sunset, easily catch the bus to other parts of the island, and get on the path to do the 3-hour trek to Fira. As other reviews mention, yes, there were a lot of stairs, but the views and cave house made those stairs 100% worth the ups and downs.
Jackie & Nikos were so accommodating and very responsive throughout our stay. Upon arrival to the port, both were waiting for us and drove us to the cave house. They gave us some great information on the drive, along with pointing out parts of villages that we found very useful as we explored on our own the following days. They had a porter take our bags (so, so helpful) and Jackie was so nice in explaining all the main points of interest and locations to make it easy to get around. They also provided a list of open restaurants as we were there in the off season.
Nikos took us to the airport on our last day and it felt like we were old friends – so easy to talk to and answered our random questions we had about the island. We highly recommend the cave house – very spacious for the two of us!!
Jackie and Nikos were great hosts, they picked up at the airport and help us with the bags and directions to navigate on the island, they also arranged us a car so we could go anywhere easily.
The place is amazing, 100% recommended.
Jackie and Nikos were great hosts! They provided us transportation to and from the airport (for 30 euros each way) and they were very knowledgeable about the island, its history and what places were open during the off-season.The place is in a GREAT location as well. In comparison to the other places we looked at, this place was much closer to the main roads, several super markets, ATMS, the bus stop and an AMAZING view right outside our door. There's certainly a hike to get to and from the place but it's totally worth it. The place itself is a nice little cave house with plenty of space and the kitchen had enough necessities for us to cook most of our meals.
Jackie was easy to contact via AirBnB and was patient with giving us helpful information. We'd absolutely LOVE to come back and stay here again when Santorini is a little warmer!
Jackie and Nikos made our experience in Santorini so effortless by helping us with transfers from the airport and researching restaurants that would be open during the holidays. They were very helpful during our stay. The house itself has an amazing view - you cannot beat the location. The furnishings were perfect for our short stay, and we were pleased to have so much more room than a normal hotel room. The only thing that we thought was odd was not being able to flush toilet paper due to the sensitive plumbing, but that was generally our experience in most places on the island, not just in the house. One thing to note that wasn't a problem for us but could be a problem for others: the stairs leading down to the cave house get fairly steep and could be very difficult for someone who is not easily able to climb stairs. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great value in a beautiful place.
We spent 4 days of our honeymoon at Jackie's cave house. It definitely has one of the best view in Oia. Right from the outset, Jackie was very helpful and resourceful. She had made arrangements for pickup and drop off as well as arranging a porter for us. Her house is very close to the Amoudi bay, which is one of the major tourist location.
Overall we were very happy to stay at her place. Given an option, we will prefer to stay there again.
Jackie greeted us at the town center and guided us to the beautiful house and introduced the town. she went searching for activities for us in the off season. Beautiful view and dedicated hostess, a really great place!
