Everything was awesome! Sean and Liza was very helpfull and kind (we even got some presents from them).
The room is in great condition and matches the description perfectly.
Thank you very much! Hope to meet you again! :)
Sean is a very caring and helpful host. He explained and show us where are the nearby restaurants and mart that we can find in the area. Subway station was near and the area is safe even at late night. Room was spacious for 2 people. Overall is was a good stay during our trip to Seoul.
I booked this house for my mom and when they checked in, we found that this house doesn't have a exact window(except a really smaller one in the bathroom) so you know it's a little bit dark and the air is not so good. And my mom told me one of the beds is really dirty with lots of hairs on the sheets. And the shower has some problem with the hot water, so when you are taking a shower, you need to turn on and turn off for many times in order to keep the water becomes warm. So during the 5 days they stay here, they didn't take one comfortable shower.
Though the room is quiet and the host is nice to give us a shock as an Christmas gift
Yes. Ateliere Studio 102 has 2 big double windows and a blind curtain outside.
Your mom and dad didn't open the outside blind curtain. This studio is the
brightest studio among our studioes. It has the fresh air. That why I had been used it for my Aterliere.
We never used a old bed sheets but sometimes we found the hair sticked
the bed sheet even if we had carefully washed. Sorry for that if so.
There are a heater control box. They didn't push on the Bath button before
shower. your mom and dad suppose to call us by interphone whenever they
had the problems. I understand your parents generation did't have a chance to study English in China. I think This is communication problems.
Minerva House is conveniently located near to some of Seoul's prestigious schools, Hankuk University and Kyunghee University. Since it is located literally inside a university belt, student-friendly establishments are abundant, as well as stores that are open 24 hours which was perfect especially when we needed to grab something at wee hours of the night. Paris Baguette is just a few steps away from Minerva House which is a plus point too! The area is not too crowded though. It's kind of far from the center of the city but it didn't bothered us at all. The subway station is located a few blocks away from the house. Cabs are also abundant around the area. We didn't get the chance to meet Liza, but Sean was there to teach and show us the makings of the whole vicinity, his food recommendations etc. It was really thoughtful of him to fetch us at the station the first day we came even though it was already late in the evening. He also took time to gave us a small tour of the place as we walked our way to his place. Sean is very accommodating and he will promptly answer to your queries. When we checked out, it was raining quite hard and Sean offered to send us to the bus station. Very caring and thoughtful host indeed! We will definitely book Minerva House the next time we visit Seoul again:)
