Nestled amongst the winding cobbled streets of the Albayzín, this restored Moorish house´s original structure dates from the 16th century.
The house is located in a pedestrianised area just 5 minutes walk from the central Gran Via main street with all its amenities and walking distance to all the main sites in Granada such as the Alhambra, the cathedral, and Sacromonte.
The house is fully furnished and has 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (1 en suite), a large fully equipped kitchen (available for guests) and a large living room.
The area is a protected UNESCO world heritage site and as such the house was rebuilt in 2009 along the original designs of the Moorish construction using traditional techniques and materials. The area and the house itself both have a tranquil ambiance that we maintain to make sure our guests´ stay is as relaxing as possible.
The spacious, cobbled interior patio provides a cool space during the summer months while the views of the Alhambra from the Alhambra room and private roof terrace are breathtaking at any time of the year.
The Albayzín itself is a unique part of the world. Almost the entire neighbourhood is made up of small cobbled streets meaning there is no noise from cars or traffic. Every corner reveals another surprise such as a sleepy plaza, a small market or a pretty fountain. Set on the hill opposite the Alhambra, you are always likely to stumble upon vantage points from where the Alhambra can be seen in all its glory whether by day or night.
The house manager is a native English speaker also fluent in Spanish.
Guests have exclusive use of the whole house. Services include:
Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher.
All bed linen and towels provided.
Private roof terrace.

I live just 2 doors down so I´m on hand to help with anything you might need.
The Albaicin, a protected UNESCO world heritage site, is the old part of Granada and mainly dates from the 12th-14th Century.
The whole neighbourhood is made up of small cobbled streets so there is no noise from traffic. The village atmosphere is in contrast to the bustling centre of Granada just 5 minutes walk down the road.
The places of interest in Granada are all located withing comfortable walking distance of the house. Driving and parking in Granada is difficult and unnecesary so you can leave the car in a car park on the edge of the centre and enjoy strolling around the city taking in the atmosphere.
The number 31 bus takes you up to the Albaicin from Gran Via if you don´t feel like walking. And the number 30 goes from outside the cathedral up to the entrance of the Alhambra.
There is a tranquil and quiet environment in the house for the benefit of all guests. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets.
Smoking is only permitted in the outdoor areas of the house.
We are unable to accept children of less than 6 years old due to the historic nature of the building.
It was a great experience going to Granada and to Rob's historically old place. Without Rob's help we would have been in big trouble to get to his place with our bags on the cobblestone paths up/down hill...a 10 minute walk! Rob..thx again for your personal help
The house is very well-managed. It looks exactly as the photos show. You'll feel like a Moorish aristocrat during your stay in the house. Rob was very friendly and gave us great suggestions for tapas bars, restaurants and a flamenco bar. The location is great -- it is quite centrally located but quiet at night, but may be difficult to access for elderly or those with heavy luggage.
This was a fabulous experience. Rob met us at the top of the winding alleyways down to his gorgeous home. He even carried my suitcase. The house was well equipped even with a dishwasher. There were only 4 of us so there were rooms to spare. We all loved the rooftop patio with a stunning view of the Alhambra across the gorge. There was not a guest coming in on our departure day so Rob graciously allowed us to stay until mid-afternoon.
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful property. There are so many nooks and crannies to escape to and the area is very quiet and peaceful yet near enough to all the main attractions. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
Rob was very responsive on every communication and helpful answering questions about the home. He even came to meet us the night we arrived and helped us get our bags through the cobbled streets.
House was perfect! Rob was very helpful. The other reviews describe very well our general experience.

Hi I´m Rob!
I fell in love with Granada some years back and am now enjoying living in the Albayzin area of the city. It´s an amazing and unique place to live and work. Granada is not just about the Alhambra (which is of course spectacular) and you´ll soon find out all the city has to offer when you come and visit.
Whilst you´re here I can help you with all the information and tips about Granada.
Thanks for looking! Just pop me an email if you have any questions :)
