The space
An older, well-maintained country property where the entire attic floor of the former farmhouse is rented out, featuring two lovely large bedrooms and a living room. Note: Both bedrooms are included with each booking.
There is a private entrance with a hallway, and a large bathroom located by the entrance.
The house is set on its own, close to a quiet road and at a distance from neighbors.
From the house, you can enjoy views of the open countryside and, weather permitting, a star-filled sky (we even saw the Northern Lights in spring 2024…), and feel embraced by the cozy, enclosed courtyard.
Between the buildings is a charming, enclosed courtyard, where you are greeted by the scent of herbs and vine-ripened tomatoes. From the courtyard there is access to a covered terrace with a daybed, gas/charcoal grill, outdoor kitchen, and a fire pit with benches. It is often windy out here, but you can find shelter in several spots.
Here you can listen to skylarks, lapwings, blackbirds, and sparrows… and of course the chickens. Behind the outbuilding live eight pampered hens, who cluck in the morning while laying eggs for breakfast (we have no rooster!).
From the courtyard there is an entrance to the hallway, where you will find the staircase as well as access to your own newly renovated bathroom.
The rooms in the attic were renovated 10 years ago and are used as guest rooms for our children when they are home.
The property has recently had a ground-source heat pump installed, supplemented by solar heating.
We have fiber-optic internet and good 5G coverage.
The ground floor of the house and the extension are occupied by the hosts, Dorthe and Peter, and their Labrador dog, Frigg.

I'm a retired teacher, and have lived most of my life at Mors. The area around Limfjorden, and this living in the countryside close to nature is something that I would like to share with my guests. It's quiet when there's no noise, and it's dark at night, - we see a starry sky very often. Our house is therefore the center of my daily life and I love to puzzle about it.
