Interaction with Guests
I used to see all guest and after doing this for over 1.5 yrs I usually just leave key. If you would like to meet we always can. I am always right in the area.
The neighborhood is unbeatable. You are right off the Intracoastal waterway and steps from the water taxi. You get a very nice breeze.
They have pick up drop off gold carts that will take you around for $3 a person. There is also Sun Trolley which is $0.50 a ride and great to get to the beach or Las Olas. So public transit is not really needed.
Other Things to Note
After over 75+ bookings I have come to learn you see a lot and some things have to be very clear. If you see my neighbors just be friendly and say you are a friend or a guest of mine. They are aware I rent my space out. I just don't want them to think I am running hotel. Also, please only use the 2 assigned chairs out front. I have had guest take neighbors chairs. Just keep in mind the neighbors live there and this is their home.
No Pets, No Smoking, No late-night partying. Other than these rules, enjoy your stay! Just leave the bed sheets and used towels in the clothes hamper, and you are all set! There is plenty of free parking for 2 cars. The spot directly outside the front door is the unit's spot. The rules are very simple. It is my home, so please treat it well ;) Thanks!
Location, location location! Only spent one night but would love to visit linger. Not only was there so many options close to the unit for fun, shopping and food, but the property was clean and homey. The nieghborhood was quite and safe, beds and furniture comfortable and Ryan was great at helping us out.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a 3 day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Place was as described - within a mile walk to the beach and close to other sources of entertainment. Ryan was extremely helpful and reliable. Would highly recommend staying here if looking for a quaint little getaway for a few days.
We stayed about 10 days and the appartment is well located. Even though it is not a 'recent' building, it is practical and it has all what we needed for our stay. Furthermore, Ryan was easy to reach and he was helpful when we had questions.
easy and private, place is a bit older than what the pictures shows, but still very homey and comfy. Will stay again.
The apartment was easy to find. It is in a great location. It is exactly how Ryan described it. It has plenty of parking and is tucked back on a quiet street which was nice.
Ryan was super thorough and quick to communicate. The place was just perfect - centrally located, with everything you could possibly need. The bikes are a genius touch! You really don't even need a car. It's a 5 minute ride to the beach :-) An incredible bargain.

My name is Ryan, and I am 30 years old. At the present time, I am working in the insurance industry. Last year, while doing claims adjusting work in the Northeast after Hurricane Sandy went through that area, I found myself having to pay exorbitant prices for not-so-great hotel rooms because some people decided to take advantage of a horrendous situation and engage in price gouging. The only good thing to come out of the "hotel ordeal" was that because of this experience I happened to learn about "Airbnb." A friend, learning of my plight of trying to find reasonably priced hotel rooms, recommended I check out the Airbnb website. I had never heard of Airbnb before, but I was willing to give it a try. I had one positive experience after another. From that point on, I knew I would never again need to pay for a hotel room, when I could get an entire apartment for the same price! I decided then that I wanted to become an airbnb host, so that I could provide a place for others, who would benefit from having a whole apartment for their time away from home. I have enjoyed my role of being an airbnb host so much, that I now have 3 units to offer potential guests who would like to visit Fort Lauderdale, and particularly would like to stay in the beach area of the city. All of the apartments are just minutes from anything you could want to do, or you would need to buy. If you are my guest, I will only be blocks away from you; so, if you should need me for anything, I am available 24/7 by text, email, or phone, to assist.
