Owen and Meradith were the perfect hosts! Great restaurant recommendations, and a really nice, big, comfy, dreamy bed. Had everything we needed; if it wasn't in the apt. it was just steps down the block. Enjoyed sitting in the courtyard, the freedom of being so close to South Station, and being within walking distance of so many shops and historical attractions. All in all, a little slice of heaven! Can't wait to get back to Boston and to stay at this lovely place again.
We felt very welcome from the moment we booked. Owen communicated with us right away and was easy to work through the logistics of our travels and lodging at his apartment. Owen provided multiple recommendations for dining which were extremely helpful. The description in the listing was accurate and I would even say that the apartment exceeded our expectations.
This was our first experience of airbnb and we were very impressed. I was in Boston for a conference and the apartment was only a 15-20min walk from the venue (Boston Convention and Exhibition Center). The apartment itself was excellent, with an extremely comfortable bed and a great kitchen. The neighbourhood is OK, but you are close by to some shops and only 5 mins walk away from South Station so it is really very convenient. We loved the welcome pack and the towels were a lovely added bonus. We didn't get the chance to meet Owen, but he was always very friendly in emails and was very flexible with our check in time. His friend checked us in and showed us around the apartment, and didn't seem too annoyed that we were a little late due to some lost luggage at the airport! All in all a great place to stay in Boston and a great host.
Great experience! I came to Boston for a conference at the Boston convention center and this was an easy 15 minute walk (or can take the red line). Close to a lot of restaurants and Chinatown as well as CVS nearby in case you forgot to bring anything. Owen was a great host and I would highly recommend this to anyone!
Our stay in Owen's pied a terre was wonderful. He greeted me with the keys and a very thorough walk-though of the unit, a very comprehensive list of places to eat in the area, guides and magazines of Boston, and most of all a great place to stay. It had everything we needed for an overnight. While the Leather District wouldn't have been my first pick pf places to stay in Boston, it proved to be extremely central, especially being so close to South Station, Fort Point, the Back Bay and a quick walk to the South End.
Great location!!! Visited Boston for work so didn't have a ton of time to explore this trip but this location is in a great spot to get around. Owen is very polite and prepared everything I needed for my short stay including recommendations for restaurants and bars. The place was clean and has a very comfortable bed. Thank you Owen! Will definitely keep your place in mind for future trips.
We had a great experience at Owen's apartment. The apartment is very clean, modern, and Owen had everything ready for a terrific weekend in Boston.
We drove in to Boston and left the car at a nearby parking garage - never moved it. The cost of the garage for Friday - Sunday was $60.
The apartment is only a few blocks from Boston Common and the start of the Freedom Trail.
The apartment is also very close to public transportation, making it an easy trip to Back Bay and Fenway Park.
We highly recommend Owen's apartment! We had a great trip.
