Chic and cozy home located just blocks from the Superdome & minutes from the CBD, French Quarter, & Garden District! Though shared, guests have access to the entire house including kitchen and laundry room. Wifi access and bikes included.

The space

Guest room is furnished, carpeted, and contains a plush queen-sized bed. It makes up part of the contemporary 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom home that is shared with Whitney & Sophia! It is spacious and very modern, and you will certainly enjoy:) The rooms can accommodate two guests. In addition, towels, soap, a blowdryer, umbrella, ect. are all provided so that you won't have to weigh down your luggage! Most people will tell you that the easiest way to get around the city is by bike, so you are more than welcome to use one or both of the spare bicycles!

The House comes with the following amenities: wifi, access to the kitchen so that you can cook or store your food, access to Washer/Dryer/ detergent, access to front & backyard, and on-street parking.

Interaction with guests

During traditional school months (early August to mid May) you will RARELY see Sophia because she's always working or studying:) And Whitney works from home and is confined to her office space there. During the summer months, we enjoy taking an active hosting role and are happy to chat etc. with as little or as much interaction as your preference and energy dictate!

We take pride in our city and our interests, and love sharing them with others, but also know (from personal experiences as a guest and over 200 experiences hosting guests of my own) nothing is more of a bummer than a host who doesn't know boundaries or how to respect her guests' privacy. We look forward to providing you with an Airbnb experience that fits your tastes and preferences, and making your stay a perfect one!

Whitney and Sophia are just the perfect hosts. They give you privacy but are very helpful when you need them. The space is neat, clean, and beautiful. The neighbors love to hang out outside. It's definitely not an upscale part of town, but at no time did we feel unsafe. Highly recommend!

This place is accurately described. Although I didn't interact much with the ladies (which made it feel very private) I know they were easily reachable. I must admit the neighborhood is a little rough as described and as other people have mentioned but it's more surreal once your there . If you're not used to it , it may be scary. It wasn't until my last day that I decided to not be fearful of the neighborhood and to actually walk around which I regret not doing so earlier . The nicest people ever ! ( this of course was in the daytime lol )The bed is nice and comfy even though it's a bit squeaky , I enjoyed my naps and nights rest after being out all day in the Louisiana sun lol . The only 2 negative things I was have to say was the bedroom door didn't lock nor did the first door on the bathroom. If I was traveling alone that would have been a big deal. Also although the location is a super cheap ($7-9) Uber/lyft cab ride to the French quarter/Garden district/CBD I didn't like that it wasn't walkable. And the trolleys weren't walkable distance either. But those lil glitches aren't no big when everything else was perfect ! I would definitely stay back here ☺️ ... and the lil chunky frenchie definitely made it a perfect trip to Nola . Thank you ladies ❤️❤️

It was a lovely home and great room to stay in. The location was great, close to the dome and close to bus stops. She also had two bikes available for us to use to get around the city which was awesome, but we didn't get to use them. We wish our bedroom door could lock but otherwise it was a good stay. Would book with Whitney again, she was a lovely and accomodating host.

Out of the blue, our newly graduated daughter chose to move to New Orleans sight unseen after a successful online job interview. We decided an AirBNB was her best option until she could find a permanent place. We looked at dozens, but were struck by the positive reviews from Whitney's previous guests. Good news: she earned every one of them! Whitney could not have been more accommodating, even offering to drive our daughter to her new job, on days she was headed in the same direction, until our daughter could get her bearings. And in fact, on checkout day, Whitney even drove our daughter to her new apartment! We're hoping to stay at Whitney's ourselves when we come to visit our daughter. Wishing you the best, Whitney.

I work in education, so it's my job to be extremely organized and friendly. I love New Orleans' nightlife from the food to the live music...there's never a dull moment!
