The place was light, clean and very comfortable. The location is really special, with warm sunshine, shady trees and fresh, fresh air. Doug was friendly and communicative during my checkin and after the first night. There is activity and footsteps in the morning that can be heard below, but this was no surprise as it is mentioned clearly in the description. On the second day I ran out of toilet paper but couldn't reach Doug by Airbnb messaging. I was out early and in late so I didn't feel comfortable knocking on the door, but I would have expected a response to my message, or for the place to be stocked with an extra roll. Overall I had a lovely stay and would stay here again!

Comfortable, private little unit with all the essentials, bed is firm and not quite large enough for a tall couple though. Roads are a little steep, windy and narrow and steps down to unit are same so best come in daylight and parking on street is tight for a larger car. Picturesque, quiet neighbourhood though and easy drive to San Fran but away from city hustle and bustle. Could hear family footsteps in morning as stated but didn't bother us. Also as stated there was minimal host interaction, we met Doug when we arrived but only communicated a couple of times through AirBnB apart from that, he leaves plenty of contact details if you really need something though.

The location was very scenic, safe, and gave a small town vibe. There are plenty of resstaurants, gas stations, and local grocery stores. It was about a 30 minute drive from everything tourist wide that we wanted to do while in california. The room was clean and the bed was awesome! We met Doug, and he was very friendly. We loved the freedom to do e and go as we pleased without worrying about disturbing anyone. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone!

Doug's place was great. I stayed there two nights to not have to commute. It's a cute in law unit with all the basics. I will definitely stay again.

Comfortable bed. Friendly host. Small space, but adequate. Wifi was spotty. They mean it when they say there are early risers directly above you!

A great place to enjoy Mill Valley and for further exploration into the Bay Area. The room is clean and comfortable, the location is peaceful, and Doug was an attentive, considerate host. Mill Valley has much to offer and this room's proximity to the Dipsea Steps is key. The most efficient pathway can take some navigation but, once understood, the three sets of steep stairs offers a lovely path into town, day or night. Further explorations to San Francisco or Mt. Tamalpais are also easily made, and after a day in the city or hiking, this Mill Valley room was a pleasure to which to return . A pensive Mick Jagger watches over, offering a mellow vibe. We would gladly revisit.
