Historic FULL apartment on a landmarked Sugar Hill block in Harlem, available for your family, friends, or private getaway!
Literally next door to the A/B/C/D express subway station (no noise, it's deep underground.) Walk ten feet and zip downtown. Two stops to Times Square.
This is my home, located directly above my other listing in the same building, with the same basic layout. It is only available during school breaks, when I travel. BUT, for a large group, it is even more comfortable than downstairs, and many of the same comments in the reviews apply!
When you are here, Frank the Cat will be on vacation. There is no cat smell.
****I hire professional cleaners.**** If you would like another cleaning during your stay, I will happily arrange it for a small extra fee.

*The apartment is full of windows and light and is kept as clean as a very old building can be. Everything will be cleaned and laundered for your arrival.
*My cleaning people are neighbors, so if I am not around they ARE, in case you have any needs.
*The neighborhood is low-income, but the people in the building and in the surroundings are very kind and friendly. There are some wonderful restaurants and pubs nearby, and much cheaper than downtown. I've lived here for over a year and I love it.
*Although I've never had a problem, the police station is in the subway station next-door, for an extra sense of security.
*Lots of on-street free parking.
Also, New York City can be overwhelming. If you're looking for suggestions on how to make the best use of your time/budget, just ask! I have a whole write-up I'd be more than happy to send you.
For those concerned about your welcome, YOUR VISIT IS LANDLADY APPROVED! :)))

We stayed in Christy's home for the Easter weekend and it was really great! The apartment was clean, the neighborhood felt safe and the express subway station was litterally next to the building. There was a great grocery store right in front. The parking in the street was free all weekend but not on some weekdays, so you need to watch out for that. Christy was very helpful with everything and the communications were clear.
Overrall, very good experience!
Christy is very nice and helpful. The apartment is great value for money. Location is just above the subway. This was also my first experience with AIRBNB and it was very good.
