Kick back and relax in this private 2-bed, 1-bath apartment in the quiet Outer Sunset District. Relax in our newly installed cedar barrel sauna. Conveniently located 2 blocks from Ocean Beach and a short walk to Golden Gate Park. It's steps away from the N-Judah MUNI line and 7 bus that connects you to downtown. A short walking distance to shops, restaurants, and grocery store. There's also an incredible gym called Muscle Beach that's only 1 block away where you can buy day passes.

The space
The two-bedroom unit occupies the ground floor of our two-story single-family home and is wheelchair accessible.

One bedroom has a king bed, and the other has two twin XL beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. Both have nightstands equipped with charging stations for your convenience.

The terracotta-colored bedroom allows access to the backyard, where you can step outside to a shared outdoor space. Here, you can unwind in the tranquil atmosphere. There is cushioned seating as well as an outdoor table with 4 chairs.

***There is also a sauna for shared use. However, please note that we can’t control how guests use the sauna, which can lead to user wear and tear or malfunctions. While we always try to keep the sauna functioning, we can’t guarantee it will be operable during your stay.***

In one of the bedrooms, you'll find a dedicated workspace featuring a desk and task chair. Stay connected with our gigabit internet, providing lightning-fast access for your video conference calls.

Adjacent to the living room is the dining area, which hosts a cozy dining table for 4 people. There is also a kitchen with essential appliances such as an electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, and various coffee (Keurig + Chemex) and tea options.

Pamper yourself in the bathroom, where we provide towels, makeup towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and other essential amenities.

The Outer Sunset has so many hidden gems scattered throughout the neighborhood. It's one of the best places in the city to get a truly local experience. The Sunset is right next to Ocean Beach, but a bit of a trek to downtown (though public transportation is easily accessible from the apartment!). If you're looking for a quiet neighborhood vibe with cute shops and restaurants, this is the place for you.

There is a lot of free street parking in the neighborhood. We almost always have two spots open in front of our house. While our neighborhood has plenty of parking and feels safe, we always recommend taking valuables with you just in case.

Uber and Lyft are also readily available, as well as Lyft Bikes and BayWheel docking stations throughout the neighborhood. There are e-bike docking stations within 2 blocks of our apartment.

Guest access
During your stay, you will have exclusive access to the entire two-bedroom unit, with a shared foyer entrance. Access is granted via a smart keyless lock, ensuring a seamless and secure experience.

You may see us in the shared foyer on occasion, and if you need anything, please don't be afraid to say hi or reach out via Airbnb messaging. We aim to be quick with our responses.

Hello and welcome! My partner and co-host, Ray, and I love the Sunset. Ray even grew up here. The Sunset is one of San Franciso's hidden gems, in our humble opinion. It's a quiet neighborhood set against the backdrop of a beautiful and wild ocean. We love walking our dog Benny at the beach, and we're avid surfers, so you may see us in the shared foyer on occasion since we live in the upstairs unit.
