  • I was living at Stefania's place 7 nights. My stay was OK. Apartment is very close to Piazza del Populo and a metro station. The host was very friendly and helpful, always with he smile on her face. Breakfast was also good, a bit different that i have used to have bet she tried her best to make it good. In general i liked my stay. :)

  • We stay at Stefania's home for 3 days and we felt very well. The house is very nice, the room is clean and comfortable but the private bathroom is too small and without windows. The balcony is nice even if is too small; anyway it is possible to make breakfast here. The location is the best for visiting some of the Rome contemporary architectures like as MAXXI designed by Zaha Hadid, Auditorium Parco della Musica by Renzo Piano. The house is also very close to Foro Italico (you can go there by foot in a few minutes). The city center is very close by public transport (5 minutes from Piazza del Popolo).
The host is very kind and she gives us many advices to visiting the places interesting for us.
Last we enjoy very much and we hope to come back again to Stefania's home.

  • It was a very pleasant experience to stay at Stefania's place. She is a very nice, warmhearted woman and it is very easy to get along with her. Stefania was ready to help us in every way and with her kind advice it was easy to find the best route to many places in the city. The house is close to the the heart of the city and the room was peaceful and clean. I really enjoyed every minute in this beautiful home and I can really recommend staying with her!

  • Stefania is very friendly and helpful and the location is also great. However the room is described as a single or double and the ngraphics show a belcony, this is not an accuraate view of the property.

The room has no belcony, it also does not have a double bed. The bed is a sofabed, which is not the best to sleep on when you are expecting a double bed as adertized and shown in the pictures of the property.

    Bathroom smelt moldy

  • we stayed at stefania's place recently, and the experience was OK. we arrived half an hour early (1.30pm), and she seems to mind, as she said she's busy preparing the place. we did try to call before going up, but the public phone went dead and we ran out of coins.
the double bed is actually converted from a sofabed, which was not very comfortable, but OK.
on the last night, she was out and back home late. we ended up taking shower without the heater at night. but she did apologized. location wise, its conveniently located, and the area is peaceful and quiet.

  • Staying with Stefania was a great experience. Her place is clean, cozy and
locates in a good location. She is very nice and helpful. She provided us
city map, good suggestion for our trip as well as nice breakfast every
morning. She also took us to the theater one night and took us to have
"Granita" on the other day. I would recommend Stefania's place for anyone
    who is going to Rome.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed at Stefania's place for a week. Our experience staying at Stefania's place is AWESOME! Her place is nicely located beside Villa Borghese, one of the best park in Roma, and is within walking distance (30 - 40 min) to all the major attractions (the Vatican, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain...) My girlfriend arrived a day early than me, so Stefania kindly took her to a local market to shop for pretty dresses and shoes. And then of course she took her to have Gelato in the end. =) And one night, she took us to a local theater, Theatro Valle, for some local show, which is fantastic! Stefania also let use her washer for 2 times, so we get to do some laundry in between. The wifi is not working while we were there, but the cable line is fine. So if you bring your laptop, which we did, it's not a problem. All in all, we HIGHLY recommend her place to stay when you visit ROME!

  • Stefania is a young, beautiful and cool woman, at the same time shel feels like a mamma away from home! :P She's very welcoming, pleasant, organised and neat. The bedroom and the bathroom are beautiful, airy, absolutely clean and perfumed. She prepared an espresso coffee everyday for us, along with toast and yogurt. When we had to leave early to take our flight, she even prepared us a snack to take away. She borrowed maps and guides about Rome, which were very very useful. She also shared information and borrowed us a blanket to visit the park on her neighborhood. Be sure about the directions to get to her apartment before arriving. Once understanding the roman transportation, it's easy to get from there to any touristic place. We went to Vatican walking. Stefania will appreciate that you have a mobile working during the stay, as we've learned it is totally useful, specially to get to her apartment (don't get the wrong train to northern region near the metro station as we did! *laughs*)

  • As the other reviews have reiterated, living with Stefania for the past 4 days has really felt like living with a good friend, family even. Throughout our stay, she made sure we constantly felt at home - breakfast was prepared for us everyday; she provided us with several maps and recommended places to visit; provided us with blankets for our trip to the park; brought us around town at in the day and night, and best of us, showed us where to get the best gelato and granita!
Her home is extremely beautiful! It was sweltering hot when we arrived, and it felt like the home was airconditioned, when in fact it was not! And her home smells fantastic as well - with scented candles and potpourri. Extremely comfortable and homely! As for the location - it manages to be both accessible and distant at the same time. Tourist attractions (the city centre) is 15mins on foot - because the tram was not in operation, yet it manages to evade the touristy part of town to really get a feel of suburban Roma.
Stefania is a natural! She's an excellent host - warm, charming, and funny - the way every airbnb host should be! We would recommend living with her to anyone! Totally loved the experience! (:
