The Rule at Casa Ola are Simple
Rule #1 Respect the bungalow, the neighbors (mostly monkeys, turtles and parrots), the locals and the environment.
Rule #2 Let me know if there is anything you need or if there are any problems so I can help.
Rule #3 Relax, leave your worries at home.
Rule #4 Have fun.
We had such an excellent time at Costa Dulce. Kit and the entire staff was so accommodating and every part of the stay was so relaxing and nice. This was probably the best stop on our trip and can't thank everyone enough for being so helpful.
Everything was perfect..a wonderfully designed and hosted bungalow hotel..Management and staff were incredible..a concentration on fresh healthy meals was a great bonus.. the beach is almost always nearly deserted and if you are fortunate and your timing is right you might see a sea turtle laying her eggs..again : kudos here but for me the setting and the well thought out and executed construction and attention to detail was amazing..plan to stay a few days more than you might think as 6 nights was too short for us..
I was there for 3 days with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time. The bungalow was great with amazing view to the ocean. No need for AC there's a nice breeze all day and cool in the night. It was very peaceful and the food was great. San Juan it's only 25 minutes away and its a fun ride if you have 4wd. I will definitely go back!
This place was incredible. The beach was perfect for swimming and walking, especially at sunset. The bungalow was so beautiful and comfortable. From the deck, swinging in the hammock, we could see whales out on the horizon. The staff and other guests were lovely to talk with. The kitchen was easy to cook in and suitably stocked. We loved it.
When we arrived at Casa Ola, we were expecting to be met by Tyson but unbeknownst to us, he was out of the country. There was nobody there to meet us and get our room sorted. We wandered for a bit until we ran into Seth who explained to us that they were fixing a problem in our room. The villa we got was really nice with an incredible view, very clean, although the linens were questionable. the pictures of the villa don't really do it justice. Nobody was there to really explain to us what was on or off limits (i.e. the community kitchen). It was rare to see anyone around really, and none of the workers there spoke english. The security guard was awesome, and Halen was very helpful on the morning of our departure when our truck got stuck going up the mountainside after a giant thunderstorm.
The beach is gorgeous and private, so if you're looking for an isolated, quiet vacation, then you'll love it. Just make sure you brush up on your spanish and take your 4WD and pack lots of food because the trek back into SJDS is long and bumpy!
We will never forget the memories of waking up from the sounds of ocean waves, the morning glimmer of the sun 's rays, our eyes adjusting to a gaze past our wiggling toes to a vast ocean outside our bedroom window. A lazy lay in the hammock on our quaint balcony. Ivan, Gonzo and of course Tyson were there to answer questions or share a great story - Great, hard working, genuine people. Thanks for the memories, thanks for a slice of paradise.

I am a Canadian living in Nicaragua. Love this place, amazing people, great waves, a dream come true!!
Love the ocean and the outdoors. Consider myself a bit of an environmentalist, think we should all strive to leave the planet in better condition then we found it.
