Terry and Lila were great! Fabulous house, quite large, clean - each room had nicely made beds with towels perfectly folded - and a bit of character. The house can certainly hold a solid amount of people. The house sits right on a peaceful lake, a canoe ride in the afternoon is perfection. Look forward to returning. No complaints whatsoever. Thank you!
Excellent hosts, very helpful and spent time explaining the different areas around the lake. The house was large enough to fit the 6 of us comfortably, and we went down to the lake to enjoy the raft for an afternoon which was lovely. The area is quaint and very charming, great for a weekend away from the city.
We had a fantastic experience at Terry and Lila's place. The house is super charming, and was ready with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The private beach is just down the road and it was great to take the floating dock out, canoe, kayak, and swim, as well as for bonfires in the evening. We enjoyed cooking big dinners to eat in the backyard, and just relaxing on the front porch looking out at the lake. All in all, a perfect weekend spot to get away with a group. Also, shout out to Tony who took great care of us at his restaurant across the street!
Terry and Lila were absolutely lovely, and their house was just as described. If you're looking for top of the line amenities, this probably isn't for you. But if you're looking for a fun spot to hang out for a weekend/week, with access to private lake frontage, a canoe, a firepit, kayaks, etc. and definitely at the right price, you'll enjoy the heck out of this place. We certainly did -- wouldn't be surprised at all if we ended up being repeat customers next summer.
This is a great house with some nice perks!
We were here with a group of 10, and it was just the right size. The private 'beach' area is just down the street and was a nice hangout spot, with benches, the fire pit and a canoe. The small detachable dock/raft was amazing and we took it out into the lake with the gang multiple times. The pre-loaded charcoal grill in the backyard was really convenient as well.
Lila and Terry live just down the street and were easily accessible to answer any questions about the house/area.
