Beautiful spacious cabin in Cooper Creek Wildlife Management Area and right ON Cooper Creek. Close to waterfalls, Toccoa River, the Appalachian Trail, and about 20 miles from Blairsville and the quaint mountain village of Blue Ridge, GA. Also, about 20 miles from Lake Blue Ridge. This cabin has mountain views, and about 200 feet of creek frontage. Cooper Creek is wide, trout-stocked, and always flowing on this property.
There are generous decks (covered and open) on three sides of this D-log cabin. The decks are equipped with two lockable gates so that large areas of the contiguous upper deck can be secured. A concrete patio runs the full length of the cabin on the lower level, which has a Ciara XLS ALPS SPA 5 person Hot Tub. There is a gorgeous stone outdoor fireplace on an additional patio that runs perpendicular to the cabin. For those physically fit, a wide, graveled switchback can be used to access the creek area. Please be aware that the switchback is steep; we have equipped it with benches and other resting spots along the way. At the creek area, you will find a picnic table, grill and fire pit.
The all wood interior of the cabin (not an inch of sheetrock here!) has 2 bedrooms, a sleeping loft and two large bathrooms. Each bathroom has double-sinked vanities. It comfortably sleeps 6. (One king bed, 1 queen bed and 1 double size futon in sleeping loft.) Washer and Dryer available upon request. The cabin is decorated in a rustic-industrial-contemporary style. Come and visit....you won't want to leave!
Other things to note
FYI: Bring food with you before you get to the cabin. If you don't, the closest town is Blairsville, GA. for groceries. It's about a 40 minute drive from the cabin. There is a small convenient/bait store about 1.5 miles away from the cabin that have essentials, like bread, eggs, milk, coffee, sugar...etc.
Please review and comply with these rules. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the host's retention of the $200 security deposit.

The renter must be at least 25 years of age.
No smoking inside the cabin
A strict "No Party Rule" is enforced.
Number of Guests: MAXIMUM of 6 Guests including the renter, NO Exceptions. Renter must provide the exact total count of guests upon reserving. Any changes in the count must be provided at least one week in advance of the reserved start date.
LIMITED PARKING: GUESTS ARE ALLOWED UP TO 3 VEHICLES AT ANY GIVEN TIME. Parking is permitted in "RESERVED" parking spaces only.
Do not feed the bears. We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by bears.
Guests should review and print the “House Manual” for information, instructions and convenient access during stay.
Hot Tub Use:
•Hot tubs can be unsafe for persons with certain health conditions, for small children and for intoxicated individuals. The renter and guests may use the hot tub at their own risks.
•Hot tub use is intended for adults. For safety reasons children should not be in or operate the hot tub alone. An adult (over 21) must accompany any child under the age of 16 in or at the hot tub.
•Do not add any substances to the hot tub (including, but not limited to bubble bath, bath oils, etc. Doing so will result in an additional cleaning fee.
•Do not press the "program" button or the "clock" button on the control panel. Doing so will put the hot tub in sleep mode and it will not run at all. The hot tub cleans itself 2 times a day. Once in the early morning for 2 hours and once in the early evening for 2 hours. If you are in the tub and it is running automatically, it is a self-clean mode, so do not attempt to turn it off.
•Do not put glass in or on the hot tub and do not consume beverages in glass containers in or near the hot tub.
•Hot tubs and alcohol are an unsafe combination and guests are asked not to overindulge in alcohol when using the hot tub.
•Keep hot tub covered when not in use. Leave hot tub set at 100 degrees when not in use. All guests should shower before getting into the hot tub.
There are many great locations for creek, river and lake fishing in this area. Fishing, in Trout Season and with license, is allowed in the creek on this property ONLY directly in front of this property. "Walking the creek" to fish in any direction from this property is forbidden and constantly monitored by the full-time resident neighbors.
Creek Frontage Area:
When enjoying the creek frontage area (the terraced area at the bottom of the trail on the cabin’s property on Cooper Creek), please follow these rules:
Do not leave children unsupervised and be sure to stay with them when wading in the creek.
Be aware that all properties adjacent to this cabin’s property are private and you are not free to “walk the creek” or float on the creek except directly in of the property.
If you build a fire in the pit, be sure it is completely out when you depart.
Do not play loud music in this area.
Please heed the notes trash handling and on fishing from Cooper Creek.
Fires and Firewood:
If you want firewood, there is a charge of $6.00 per bag. Please request at booking time or within one week prior to arrival. OUTDOOR FIREPLACE AND FIRE PIT MAY BE USED ANYTIME OF YEAR unless these are banned due to drought and increase forest fire risk. Please ensure that the fire is completely extinguished before leaving the outdoor area. PLEASE ONLY USE THE INDOOR FIREPLACE IN COLD WEATHER. When using the indoor fireplace, open the fire place trap before you light a fire and be sure to close the trap when fire is completely out.
A maximum of 2 well-behaved, house broken pets are allowed. Bringing pets requires a nonrefundable fee of $75. For the protection and comfort of all our guests, all pets must be flea and tick free upon arrival. Pets ARE NOT allowed on the furniture, including BEDS. PET FEE STRICTLY ENFORCED. IF YOU BRING A PET WITHOUT PAYING THE PET FEE, YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE RETAINED.
Pets should not remain in the cabin unsupervised. Please crate your animal if you leave them unsupervised inside the cabin. Please clean-up your pet's waste in the immediate vicinity of the cabin and parking areas and toss it into the wooded area. A pooper-scooper can be found adjacent to the front door. Do not allow pets to wander outdoors unsupervised. They may join a wild pack of dogs, or...worse.
Renter and Guests MUST NOT leave bottles, cans or any trash outdoors, including on the decks, patios, and at the creek frontage area. Guests are expected to properly dispose of all trash from both inside and outside the cabin.
Place trash in outside trash containers and securely close lids. (This keeps the woodland pests out!). Garbage enclosure is located next to our "RESERVED" parking area.
If possible, please take home and recycle any recyclable trash....We do!
