The space

The Grey Room at Pine Point Bed & Breakfast has a glazed door which looks out to sea & leads onto the garden.
It has a double bed & an en suite bathroom with shower & bath.

£99 is the cost per night for a double occupancy.
Single occupancy by arrangement
Weekend stays are 2 nights minimum.

A travel cot is available.

Pine Point is my fabulous 1960's architect designed house with amazing sea views. It is furnished in a laid back mix of vintage and quirky contemporary.
It's bed and breakfast Jim, but not as we know it. Think boutique guesthouse rather than seaside landlady.
Our bed linen is pure cotton and our hot water continuous.
Each room has a Tassimo drinks machine/mineral water/biscuits etc.
Breakfast is buffet style with cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, cheeses, eggs, croissants, toast etc.

Ventnor is by far the best place to visit on the island which itself is one of ‘the world’s hippest hangouts’ according to Harper’s Bazaar Magazine.
There's great food, (from fine dining at the Royal Hotel to crab on the beach at Steephill Cove), quirky shops and stunning coastal walks.
The island has festivals and carnivals galore or you can just chill on the sun deck - we have a micro climate in Ventnor and get more sunshine than anywhere else in Britain - fact!

Guest access

The sun deck is accessible to all guests to enjoy.

Interaction with guests

We love to advise guests on places to see and, most importantly, restaurants to enjoy!

The neighborhood

Pine Point is approx 15 mins walk from centre of Ventnor & beach.

Getting around

There is ample off street parking at Pine Point and bus routes are close by.
We also have a secure bicycle shed for those who want to explore the island on two wheels.

Other things to note

Dotty the Jack Russell lives at Pine Point and Lily the Dalmatian visits most days.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Pine Point. Small details such as coffee, tea, toiletries in the bathroom and nice bedding really made a difference to the quality of stay. Not to mention the lovely breakfast provided. Debby went out of her way to be helpful in planning our daily activities. She really knows what she's talking about! We loved Dotty the Jack Russel too!

Our stay at Debby's place was lovely. We received a very warm welcome and Debby was great at marking off on maps some of the places we wanted to go as well some of her own recommendations which turned out to be great. Listen to her restaurant tips....she knows what she's talking about. Pine Point is a lovely place with fantastic views overlooking the sea. We had beautiful sunshine (in February!) which made watching the sunset on the terrace just lovely. Great location for getting around the island including a fab coastal drive to Alum Bay. Would certainly stay here again. We loved Dotty the dog too and will definitely bring our dog next time :)

We had a lovely stay here in Ventnor. The room was delightful and the bed super comfortable. Debby's breakfasts were wonderful with beautiful fresh produce. The house has spectacular views and is a walkable distance to town or just a few minutes' drive.

Me and my girlfriend had a great stay at pine point. The location is great, overlooking Ventnor and the sea. Debbie was a friendly host and provided a spotless, very nicely decorated room and bathroom to stay in. The dining/sitting room was very bright and was a pleasant place to eat the delicious breakfast provided. We hope to visit again one day! Jordan and Katherine

Debby was waiting for us and had agreed an early arrival as we were going out to lunch. Everything was ready and Debby was available with keys and advice. The room is large, airy and furnished to a very high standard with luxury bedding etc. The bathroom is large with a big bath for soaking in and a huge shower too. Great products and fluffy White Company towels. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was lovely with home picked blackberries amongst other fruit, organic yoghurt, fresh croissant and delicious bread. Just a short walk to Ventnor.

Our stay at Pine Point was great! Ventnor is well situated on the island and has a surprising number of really great restaurants. The house is beautiful, Debby has done a great job maintaining and decorating it. The rooms are very clean and the view on the deck was amazing to sit out on in the mornings and evenings. Debby was a great host and provided a nice breakfast and really good advice on spots to visit and restaurant choices. If I ever find myself visiting the island again this will definitely be my first choice.

Debby User ProfileDebby is a superhost.

Born and bred in London, I moved to Ventnor, Isle of Wight, in 2003 when I found my wow factor 60's home with 180 degree sea views.
It was the best move I've ever made and, as the house is pretty spacious, I now share it with guests wanting Bed & Breakfast.
I also have a 3 bedroomed cottage close by in Ventnor which I rent to guests on a self-catering basis.
With a background in vintage retail/design/PR, I host my places to the high standard that I'd want if I were the traveler. I also know a heck of a lot about the IOW - where to go and what to do - and I'm the sort of person who likes to pass on all the hints and tips!
