Pine Point is my fabulous 1960's architect designed house with amazing sea views. It is furnished in a laid back mix of vintage and quirky contemporary.
It's bed and breakfast Jim, but not as we know it. Think boutique guesthouse rather than seaside landlady.
Our bed linen is pure cotton and our hot water continuous.
Each room has teas/coffees/mineral water/biscuits etc.
Breakfast is buffet style with cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cheeses, eggs etc.
Ventnor is by far the best place to visit on the island which itself is one of ‘the world’s hippest hangouts’ according to Harper’s Bazaar Magazine.
There's great food, (from Michelin star fine dining to crab on the beach), quirky shops and stunning coastal walks.
The island has festivals and carnivals galore or you can just chill on the sun deck - we have a micro climate in Ventnor and get more sunshine than anywhere else in Britain - fact!
NB A very cute wire fox terrier/sheep cross lives at Pine Point.

We had a fantastic stay with Debby at Wightaway. The suite was beautifully presented with stunning sea views, the breakfasts were delicious and overall we found Debby to be a wonderful host. We will definitely be returning to stay again!
Had a great time at the B&B. It's located in a beautiful, quiet spot in the south-east corner of the island. Nearby Steephill Cove and the Botanic Gardens were gorgeous.
We had a delightful stay with Debbie. She's a very generous host and Pinepoint was a clean, comfortable and beautifully located place to stay on the Isle of Wight. The breakfast in the morning was superb as well. Many thanks.
We stayed for a night at Debby's place and would highly recommend it. The room is clean and beautifully decorated and in a choice location. Debby is a great host. Warm, friendly and full of great tips for exploring the area. In fact the restaurant she recommended was one of the best we ate at during our whole English holiday. The breakfast was delicious with free range eggs and homemade raspberry and lemon curd for the croissants. Unfortunately we missed the sea views due to the mist but on a clear day you could see forever from her front room, which is the breakfast area. We will definitely be recommending it to any friends who visit the Isle of Wight!
Debby was extremely welcoming and loving. Her place was simply beautiful and exactly as the pictures had described. My boyfriend and I had such a pleasant stay and the location was spot on to the lovely ventnor beach and yummy seafood restaurants! We will definitely be back for another relaxing get away!
Bright, clean, spacious and great bathroom. All as described in Debby's blurb. The breakfasts were lovely with a great view from the huge french windows. As previous guest has said, DO take notice of Debby's directions on how to reach her home. The hill side is steep so you may well find yourselves using the car to travel down to Ventnor, rather than walking. Managed to coincide with the annual carnival (looked sweet but rain was a deterrent). St Helen's is a lovely village with nature reserve and great beach.
Great spacious rooms, fab design, big clean new bathrooms with bath & shower. Delicious breakfasts. Fabulous view. Highly recommend if staying in Ventnor.
We had a wonderful time at Debby's. She is the lovliest possible host, incredibly helpful, gives the best tips, and all in all sweet and funny in a very non intrusive way. The room is lovely, with many small details which make it special. The breakfast is excellent.
The location is beautiful - the whole island is - but you better follow Debby's instructions, otherwise you might wander around for hourse, because the island is very badly post-signed.
In general - warm reccommendation!
Debby very kindly let myself, my partner and our little pooch stay in her glorious pad! Stylishly decorated with plenty of facilities, it really was the perfect place to stay for our relaxing weekend away. She provided us with so much information for the sleepy town of Ventnor for which we were so grateful! And we awoke to a scummy breakfast with hot croissants and buckets of freshly brewed tea. The place is beautiful and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay!!
We had a wonderful weekend break with Debbie at Pine Point. She was really welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us. Her local knowledge was invaluable in helping us to make the best use of the short amount of time we had on the island. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Pine Point has wonderful sea views from rooms and the fantastic terrace at the front of the house. The house is situated in a quiet part of Ventnor but within easy walking distance of the town centre and amenities. Many thanks again Debbie. We will most certainly be recommending Pine Point as a great place to stay on the Isle of Wight.
