Welcome to The Georgia Mason House!

Inspired by the botanical wonders of Oregon and designed with your comfort in mind, The Georgia Mason House is located in McMinnville's Granary District, home to wineries, breweries, coffee shops, and some of the Valley's finest cuisine.

The House is perfect for birthday celebrations, girls' weekends, wedding groups — or just because.

The space
With 4 bedrooms, each featuring a comfy queen bed and Schoolhouse Electric bedding, you'll have plenty of space to catch up on your beauty sleep. And with 2 full bathrooms (one with a clawfoot tub!), plus a convenient half bath, there won't be any bathroom line-ups in the morning.

After a day of exploring the nearby wineries, kick back on the comfortable living room sofa and watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu (or your favorite streaming service) on the Smart TV. Or gather around the dining table that seats 8, and enjoy a home-cooked meal made with ingredients sourced from the local market (which will fit perfectly in the vintage fridge, by the way).

And let's not forget about the backyard, complete with a Weber gas grill, outdoor dining space for 8, a firepit, and bistro lights. It's the perfect spot to sip on some of the bottles of wine you brought back from your wine tour. And if people-watching is more your thing, the front porch is the perfect spot to sit and watch the neighborhood go by.

Our gardens were designed by a local horticulturalist with native plants that are both rain-wise and pollinator attractors. We hope you'll take some time to explore the gardens.

For those who need to get some work done, there's a private workspace. Whimsical dried flowers grace the office space, as if it was Georgia Mason's own. An antique jelly cabinet in the office is stocked with games, puzzles, and pup supplies for those traveling with pets.

When you need to do laundry, there's a washer and dryer in the spacious laundry room.

*THE PERKS*
An Easy Walk to Great Spots
The Georgia Mason House is conveniently located within walking distance of great destinations like Eyrie Vineyards, a local treasure and one of the oldest wineries in the area. You can also stroll to Mac Mkt, a popular spot for coffee, drinks, local goodies, and delectable dinners.

We're Dog-Friendly
We know your furry friends are family, too. That's why we welcome up to two pups! Just add your dog(s) to your reservation and the pet fee is automatically calculated.

*THE "HEY, THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW ... "*
The Neighborhood
Alpine Avenue has a light-industrial vibe. You might spot a couple cell towers, some storage lockers, and even the sweet scent of pie from the nearby pie maker. But hey, it's all part of the charm, right?

The Upstairs Full Bath
The upstairs full bath is attached to the primary bedroom, so make sure you're comfortable sharing your bubble baths with your roomies. However, the other upstairs bedrooms have access to a half bath, and there's a full bathroom downstairs with a shower and vanity, so everyone can have some space.

Sound good?
Great — we look forward to hosting you!

*WHO IS GEORGIA MASON?*
The Georgia Mason House is a tribute to the incredible real-life botanist, Georgia Mason. Born in 1910 (the same year this House was built), Georgia's adventurous spirit led her from the East Coast to Oregon at the age of 48 to pursue her new-found passion for botany. She received a Master's degree at 50 from Oregon State, and dedicated her life to studying and gathering plants across the beautiful state of Oregon. We invite you to immerse yourself in the narrative and design inspired by Georgia's remarkable journey. Each corner of this space tells a story, a tribute to her botanical adventures.

Guest access
Guests have access to the whole 4 bedroom / 2.5 bath home, including the front and backyard and driveway parking.

Other things to note
Coffee
Coffee is provided, both regular and decaf. We source from our favorite local coffee roaster in McMinnville. We have a traditional coffee maker and a french press, along with an electric coffee grinder.

Wood for the Fire Pit
Wood is available at stores nearby including Roth's and BiMart.
