About this listing
The laid back southern end of the Gold Coast is best known for its pristine surf beaches and the Wildlife Sanctuary. Tugun and Currumbin have great cafes, restaurants, and the Surf Clubs are a great place for an afternoon drink and a relaxed meal.
The beach house is a beautiful timber sculpture, balancing on the hillside like a driftwood boulder. The view stretches from Surfers Paradise to Tweed Heads and changes every visit, sometimes blue sky with emerald green ocean, other times grey and darkest blue. Always beautiful.
Thursday is bin morning (not compulsory but always appreciated).
Tugun and Currumbin are the laid back end of the Gold Coast. It's great for family or simply relaxing by yourself. When you're there, you simply don't want to leave. However if birthdays or Xmas demand it, Robina shopping is 20 minutes away.
Walking is the the preferred mode of transport. The airport is conveniently close, and GC buses are incredibly easy.
Other things to note
The house has all mod cons including an inclinator, CBUS lighting, electric gate, etc. These devices take a little getting used too.
Beautiful houses have lots of rules. The simplest is "please respect our property"; the most complex is how to use an inclinator. I leave a dossier of information on the house, equipment and local area.
