  • We six students enjoyed the staying at Steve's place. The stocked fridge was wonderful! Steve was also very considerate. Definitely recommend this host!

  • Offering his place to 8 international students and providing a full fridge: That’s Steve!
Seriously, if you go to Philly you should consider his place! We were all very glad that we had the chance to stay at his place and would definitely come back. We only met him shortly but he was super nice and very quick and professional during the booking process. What else? Go to the Barnes Foundation!

  • I had not booked through airbnb before coming to Philly so I wasn't sure what to expect. Steve's apartment was clean and fully stocked with every amenity. The place is also located in a cool part of the city. If you're not sure about airbnb Steve's apartment will reassure you.

  • We were five friends to stay at Steve's place, and we loved it! The location was great (very close from the bus) and the apartment was cosy and clean. Steve is very nice and made the check-in/check out really easy. I would definitely stay here again!

  • When I decide to finally put my place on AirBnB I will replicate Steve’s model.

    - The sheets were clean
    - The bed was extremely comfortable
    - He left out waters and sodas for us which was so crucial when going out
    - His tips for Philly were directly in line with what my friends suggested
    - He had metro coins available which I bought from him but it saving me a lot of time and hassle getting exact change from the machines.
    - There were towels, soaps and other random bath products there in the event we needed it
    - The apartment did smell a little like smoke, which may be a detractor, but overall the experience was really great.
    - The proximity to the stadium and public transportation is awesome. You can get to an Eagles or Temple game in 10 minutes for less than $10.

I would recommend Steve’s place, his hospitality is the best I have seen on AirBnb and the bed is extremely comfortable with nice sheets.

  • Steve was the consummate host! The apartment was clean, well organized, and very comfortable. The small, enclosed back porch was perfect to let me dog romp around. Modern bathroom with two shower heads and a heating lamp was really nice. Extra layer of cushiony softness on the bed a big plus! Steve greeted us and made sure we got the lay of the apartment and neighborhood. He stocked the fridge with soft drinks, bottled water, snacks, and invited us to use the place like it was our own. Parking is tight there, but Steve reserved a spot for us right in front of his apartment, so it makes the arriving the first day very easy. Would definitely stay at Steve's again.

About
World traveler, Philadelphia PA native, living in the best section of south philly. I purchased this property in 2008 and love the neighborhood! My airbnb 1BR/1BA (Owner's Unit Apt) is truly my favorite place to live ever! The unique local food amenities located just steps outside my front door are second to none...Almost every business has been established 25-85 years in the same location, that says alot about the quality. I would describe my neighborhood as Old-School Italian Catholic. I graduated from Drexel University with a business degree and have had incredible work experience in Banking/Finance/Economics and my specialty Marketing. Also I have lived overseas in Garmish Germany as a US Dept of Defense contractor (Army Civilian) opening a luxury five star hotel 'Edelweiss lodge & resort' located in the Bavarian Alps. I enjoy skiing, tennis, biking, and hiking anywhere i can go, very spontaneous traveler here... I have an ability to pick-up and go at a moments notice, try to live life to its fullest & explore as much of this world as I possibly can...
