The space

The apartment is located in a modern building. It is very cozy and comfortable, the bathroom was recently renewed, and kitchen is also shared and complete.

The apartment is located in the 7th floor and from the large balcony you have a beautiful view of la Rambla and the imposing Río de la Plata. You can sit on the balcony and watch the people on the Rambla in their various activities or you just watch and enjoy the great river. You see the imposing big ships (vessels) going up and down the Rio de la Plata. You can enjoy the sunrise or sunset in the summer months.

I offer a one-bedroom ore ttwo-bedrooms and you can use all facilities in my apartment.

The room has television and WI - Fi. Meals are not included, but tea and instant coffee are available at any time of the day. If you wish a meal, I can serve it, because I like to cook. Costs we will manage together.

In the apartment there is a little cat, therefore it is not be advisable for someone who have any allergies to them.

La Rambla, ist the most beautiful part of Montevideo. It is a very important point of recreation in the city, walking, running, biking, or simply sit and enjoy freshness.

The neighborhood is residential (Parque Rodó) and the apartment is in front of the American Embassy, which gives you extra security.

A little shop for essential goods is downstairs, a hairdresser, in a little drugstore next to the apartment you can buy stamps and send your postcards and letters.

Montevideo has a very pleasant climate without extreme temperatures both in winter and in summer. The sun shines all year, and we have no rainy season, that makes that parks and gardens remain always green.

The location is also excellent for those who prefer to explore the city by walk, due to its proximity to the old town and commercial center, also the Punta Carretas Shopping Center is accessible by foot.

The distances in Uruguay are not big, which allows doing excursions per day to other parts of the country. Punta del Este 140 km, Colonia 180 km.
There are direct transportations to Buenos Aires (Argentina) several times per day.

There is public transportation 100 meters from the apartment, to all directions of the city, also some restaurants and shops, and the Ramirez beach at 500 meters.

I think that stopping at my house; you will get a very comfortable stay in direct contact with the everyday life of the city and its citizens, that will gibe you a more authentic picture of it. You can also get information of all kinds directly from someone who knows about guests’ interest, since I'm linked to tourism.

With an additional cost, I can pick you on the port or airport with my own car.

I will be very pleased to receive you and to make you feel at home, in my apartment. I speak german and I have german TV as well.

Welcome to my home, welcome to Montevideo.
