One bedroom apartment in central Santiago with fifteenth floor views towards the mountains. The five year old apartment building has pools, gym, guest parking, laundry. The apartment has a living room, one bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with tub and shower, a small balcony, and a fully-equipped kitchen (oven, electric hobs, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer). There is also cable television and a broadband Wifi internet connection.
The apartment building is on Avenida Vicuña Mackenna, one of the main arteries into central Santiago. From here you can walk to sites such as the La Moneda government palace, the Bellavista neighborhood, the San Cristobal hill and the Plaza de Armas.
Alternatively, it is just a ten minute walk to the Santa Isabel and Irarrazaval metro stations, both on Metro Line 4 which runs to Baquedano (for Bellavista and San Cristobal), Bellas Artes (for the Fine Arts museum and Lastarria neighborhood) and Plaza de Armas (for downtown Santiago). Alternatively, dozens of buses and collective taxis also run along Vicuña Mackenna. There is a bus stop one block from the building.
For shopping, there is a brand new supermarket just a couple of hundred meters down the street, but for fresh food, try the nearby street markets which are held on Diez de Julio (Sundays) and Camilo Henriquez (Fridays). The Bustamante park is just one block from the building and stretches all the way to Plaza Italia, great for a stroll or a jog. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes on the side of the park. Try the Providencia Literary Cafe, a public library and cafeteria rolled into one. And just across the street, we have the Facetas theatre which puts on theatre and musical shows most weekends.
I stayed two months in Tom's apartment. It's clean, small and well located. The gym was good and although small the rooftop pool was fun. The area is noisy so earplugs at night are useful. I met Tom and got to know Myrtha, Tom's mother-in-law. She is enormously welcoming, kind and helpful. If Tom is ever away, Myrtha is a lady you can depend upon. I recommend the apartment, it is good value for money.
Tom was very accommodating and greeted upon arrival to show us the place and give us keys. The place is comfortable and has an awesome view of the city. Very happy with our stay at Toms place.
Although Tom wasn't able to personally meet us he made sure we would be able to get the key on time at our arrival. The aparment is good, on a great location and has everything one would need for a good stay. It is within walking distance of the Santa Isabel metro station and has several bus stops nearby. It also has a supermarket within 100 meters, which is very convenient. Tom is also very prompt to respond any inquiries. The building also has a rooftop pool as you can see in the pictures and a laundry room.
Tom's apartment is very well located and excellent for two persons. It was perfect for our stay in Santiago. There are lots of markets in the neighborhood and the subway station is very close to it.
Everything was excellent and we had this great view over Santiago by night!
Good location 20 min walk to activities. Less to parks. Grocery next door. Great view of city and mountains. Good size, comfortable, very clean and modern. Our flight was supposed to be delayed, Tom monitored that, but we came on a different flight, so got there early, he was not there to meet us but when we contacted the front dest they called him and he came right away. Checked out by giving keys to mother in law in next apartment. Great value for the city. Host very helpful. Highly reccomended.
Great place, clean And well located, close to metro. We arrived 2 hours late And it was not a problem for the keys, the neighbour was there. The bed could be more confortable but I Still recommand this place!
Parfait .....
Recomendamos!
