Nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains in beautiful Ellijay lies THE PLAYGROUND. This new, modern luxury home was crafted & designed with our guests in mind. The unique & upscale style, both exterior & interior, are only matched by the breathtaking scenery just outside the home. You will, no doubt, feel completely immersed in nature as you take in the secluded 20 acre property which includes serene forest views, trails, & Harris Creek running through the property on both sides!
The space
The Playground provides an elevated vacation experience that is unmatched in this area. Located just 1.5 miles from one of the southeast’s most scenic lakes- Carter’s Lake and only minutes from some of Ellijay’s most beautiful vineyards, apple houses, and 15 minutes to downtown Ellijay, 25 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. The home is also conveniently located just 1.5 hours north of Atlanta and 1.5 hours south of Chattanooga. This location is simply- prime!

INSIDE:
This home was custom-built with so much love and attention to detail. You will enter the home on the main level. Walking in your eyes are immediately drawn to the large windows overlooking the woods and creek. We have an open concept kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to cook and enjoy a meal on the large dining table (seats 10). A unique, double sided gas fireplace (not in use from May-August) separates the area entering the living space which is complete with balcony access, gas grill, and smart tv. Bedroom 1 is located on the main floor which boasts private balcony and bathroom with walk in shower and walk-in closet.
There is also a half bath on the main level.
Downstairs you will love the common area to lounge, watch some TV, or play games which includes air hockey, arcade games, and board games. The downstairs modular couch can convert into a bed to accommodate 2 guests (perfect for kids). We also have a laundry room with washer and dryer. Bedroom 2 features a private balcony and en suite bathroom with walk in shower. Bedroom 3 boasts a private balcony and shared bathroom with walk-in shower.
OUTSIDE:
Upon pulling up to the house you’ll immediately notice the unique design elements incorporated that were inspired by the naturally beautiful surroundings-hand stacked stone, woods, metal-coming together to form something amazing. We want our guests to feel immersed in the setting that makes Ellijay so special.
Guests are free to explore the large property surrounding the home which includes private access to Harris Creek! Once finished taking in all that the creek has to offer, enjoy time around the fire pit or grilling out on the balcony overlooking the dense forest.
The only other home in sight is our tiny home (also available to book) by the creek. If there are guests in the tiny house during your stay, you will share a driveway and both have creek access. You will have separate creekside firepit and seating.
There really is something so captivating about this spot. We are so excited for you to have fun and make memories at THE PLAYGROUND!
** If you disregard checkout times, and our cleaners are waiting on you to leave beyond 15 minutes, you will be charged a late checkout fee to cover their time.
** Extra cleaning fee may be charged due to excessive mess left in the house, including, but not limited to trash all over the house, moved furniture, overly soiled linens, etc.
**There will be a service fee added to items left that you request to have shipped back
