Any product or service human beings have ever produced or offered can be obtained in Copacabana. This is not always a good thing, but that's the way it is.

The subway station near from my building is sadly closed (until December 2013) but the Bike Rio station adjacent to it is still open.
You can buy a monthly pass for unbelievable 5 dollars and take and leave bikes at more than 60 locations around town.
The gorgeous lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas is just one mile away (1,6km). We, carioca natives, simply call it "a lagoa" or "the lagoon".
Walking, running or biking around its 8km (5mi) shore is one of the coolest things to do in Rio.
