My husband and I decided to explore Austin for our 5th anniversary and we could not have picked a better host/location. It was our first Airbnb experience, and a terrific one! The house is located in a perfect area to bike to food trucks, bars (around 6th St.) and really just anywhere in east/downtown Austin (we also knee boarded on the river, went to Barton Springs and rode around the entire Austin biking/jogging trail which we highly recommend). We utilized her bicycles for the long weekend, leaving our car parked safely in her driveway. Angel was immediately welcoming, giving us tips on where to go and what to do, and offering us a refreshing beverage upon arrival. We very quickly felt right at home and the room and accommodations were exactly as pictured; very clean and comfortable. A+ rating and we will definitely stay with Angel again, when we head back to beautiful Austin TX!
Angel was a terrific host! Her house was eclectic and adorable and the room had great light and a comfy bed. She had lots of snacks including eggs from her chickens (which were delicious) and the bathroom was stocked with everything from extra towels to a hair dryer. The location of her house was great too - my husband and I were able to walk everywhere in East Austin and even to downtown with ease. We also used her bikes to go to Barton Springs which was a great way to see more of Austin. Angel was great with communication and is so sweet. She even let us leave our suitcases at her home after check-out since our flight was later in the day. Overall, it was the perfect place to spend our last few days in Austin :)
We had a wonderful time in Austin and staying at Angel's made it even better! Angel is warm and welcoming hostess and we found her to be knowledgeable and helpful when it came to local, fun ways to enjoy Austin. Her home was clean, the room was very comfortable and the amenities were perfect. We particularly enjoyed using the bikes to explore the city. We would highly recommend Angel's Urban Farm to anyone traveling to Austin,
Angel was very accommodating, we arrived pretty late on the first night and she just said: "Make yourself at home and I'll see you tomorrow morning!" We were already charmed. Angel's house is welcoming, we had a really good breakfast made by Angel's boyfriend, Johnny. They gave us good inputs for places to visit and eat. If you're looking for a place in a nice neihborhood next to downtown Austin, this is the place!
Our trip to Austin was made stellar by our stay with Angel. Her house felt like home! All amenities were provided, down to the last detail. We had a blast taking her bikes out for a spin down to Barton Springs. While our stay was short, Angel was able to give us suggestions that facilitated a grand trip. We would return in a heartbeat!
Angel was a fantastic host. Her recommendations were endless and much appreciated, and her bikes for use definitely made my stay an adventure :)
The house was so lovely, charming, clean and relaxing to stay in. Plus the location was great - walking distance to East Austin's hub of bars and restaurants, and also in a quiet residential setting. I highly recommend this place to any first-time Austin visitor (as I was) because the stay with Angel definitely made me want to come back!
Angel rocked. She is awesome and the room was great. The eggs were delicious and the bike was fun to ride down to Lady Bird lake. You should definitely stay with Angel. She really made it feel like I belonged. Best AirBnB experience yet.

About the Host, Angel
I love sharing my home with friends and strangers alike. I've lived in Austin for 13 years and am happy to point you to spots off the beaten path (Cathedral of Junk) to the sparkling jewels in the middle of the city (Barton Springs). I'm a User-Experience Designer for a Clean Tech/Energy Management start-up. I love the challenge and rewards of conserving in all aspects of life. I enjoy bike riding, brewing and drinking craft beer, gardening, petting my chickens, sewing and DIY projects, seeing live music, traveling, and eating great food. I've only been to 13 countries and 25 states. I most recently spent a few months in Hawaii living off grid on a living farm that is doing reforestation on the Big Island.
