About this listing
Enjoy Keystone in the winter skiing and in the summer hiking, kayaking, sailing, golfing, white water rafting, biking, great live theatre and going to numerous free outdoor festivals with well known talent!
My two bedroom condo is located 300 yards from the slopes of Keystone Ski Resort. You get the master bedroom with its own bathroom. Feel free to make yourselves at home in the rest of my condo. I am a book collector so be prepared to browse. I have an older Australian Shepard named Bleu. He will treat you with respect. He is a good dog.
Keystone is a great place to visit in the winter for skiing with 5 resorts within 10 miles of here. My condo is located in the Mountain House area of the resort. The Argentine and Peru lifts are an easy walk across the bridge and thru a parking area. So easy to return to my warm cozy place to enjoy lunch before heading back to the slopes. Keystone provides a free shuttle bus for our resort area. There are two very close stops from Snowdance Condos. And if skiing another resort (A-Basin, Breckenridge or Copper) peaks your fancy, a free bus service, Summit Stage, runs 20 hours of each day throughout the area.
For summer stays hiking, biking, art festivals, fly fishing, sailing, sailing, music festivals, BarBQs, horseback riding, kayaking, golf, wildlife viewing...the list goes on. Did I mention perfect weather? No humidity in the summer months.
The resort has many restaurants and shops within walking distance. And a wonderful play house in Dillon, just a few miles away.
I travel a lot myself, so there are many times you could enjoy the entire apartment on your own. I also have a comfortable sofa sleeper, so my condo could sleep a total of four. Free WiFi and loads of movies!
I have a gas grill on the patio that you can use. And I will offer coffee, tea, toast and cereal for breakfast. There is a community hot tub and laundry room.
There is a condo hot tub and sauna just 2 doors down from my condo. A laundry room across the driveway.
Interaction with Guests
I am a world traveler and have also written 2 books on numerology so I have a lot to share, but I am more interested in my guests. I hope that you would share with me, however, I totally understand if you prefer your privacy.
Mountain House is the area of original Keystone resort. The condos are older, spacious and quieter than the new River Run area. We have a few great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Lifts are 100 yards from my condo.
Free public bus stop in 25 yards from my front door. The Summit Stage will take you to A-Basin, Copper Mountain and Breckenridge resorts, as well as Dillon, Silverthorne and Frisco to shop! The Keystone shuttle bus will take you anywhere you want to go at our resort.
Other Things to Note
My Australian Shepard, Bleu, just turned 12 years old. He is a wonderful friendly dog who would love an occasional belly rub, but is just fine to be left alone as feel.
I provide a variety of breakfast foods. Feel free to just help yourself.
One rule NO cigarette smoking.
Patty's place was exactly what we needed for attending a weekend festival in Keystone ... convenient proximity to River Run village and easy to access our room. As a bonus, Patty was super friendly and outgoing and we greatly enjoyed hanging out with her in the morning. Also, our room was quite immaculate!
Patty is a fantastic host. When booking, she was responsive and enthusiastic. When we were traveling / arriving, she was informative, flexible, and welcoming. The room is lovely, and Patty's home is in a spectacular location convenient to other towns, bike paths, hiking, walking, amenities, and more. We stayed in the summer, and my hope is to be able to come back in the winter to be able to enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, and more from Patty's excellent Snowdance Condo!
I have stayed in Air B/B's around the world. Patty is one of the friendliest, easy going hosts I have had the pleasure to meet. Her Snowdance Condo room at the base of Keystone Mountain is outstanding. Clean, charmingly decorated, includes all the amenities one would need for a stay. Great for skiing Keystone, only a short walk across a bridge to the lifts, also restaurants within walking distance. Patty has a wealth of travel knowledge which she is willing to share. Our time was too short, hope to stay longer next trip. Thank you again, Patty, for a wonderful time!
This was a great first air bnb experience! The location couldn't have been better -- literally right next to the mountain! Patty and Bleu were great hosts and we enjoyed getting know them! The room was perfect and very comfortable.
Patty was very welcoming and accommodating. The house is literally a 5 minute walk to the ski lift so it's a great location! I'll definitely be looking to stay here if I'm ever in Keystone again. Thank you, Patty!
Patty was the best host ever!! I was kind of apprehensive of staying in someone's home but she made it so very comfortable! Her house is nice and clean! She has everything you need for your stay! The location was absolutely perfect! And because of her being there, we asked her tons of questions on how to get here or there and where's the best place for this and that and she always had an answer! Walking distance to any and everything you need and if not the shuttle is also just a walk away! We can't wait to make it back!
