  • Abraham has been a GREAT host !
Before we arrived he was very friendly and gave us all the precise directions to get to his place from the airport. And once we got there, everything was clean, well-ordered. The bathroom was perfect and we could even drink his filtered water (since you cannot drink tap water in Mexico). The terrace is really enjoyable and the apartment is located 10 minutes from downtown in a quite popular but very, very safe neighborhood. We saw policemen patrolling at every corner. That way we could experience the "real" Mexico, feeling safe and being able to reach downtown really quickly.
Abraham also gave us tips for the places to eat and to visit. He was really a perfect host !

If you're going to Mexico on Airbnb, Abraham is probably the best choice you can make !

  • My friends and I really had an amazing time at Abraham's oasis. The place is clean and beautiful, especially the nice terrace. Also the house has a good location, really convenient to market, metro station and main areas. Abraham and his family are really nice, and his daughter is so cute!!! Abraham really helped us a lot and gave us great suggestions. Especially the delicious tacos nearby, wow, we just want to have them everyday! Thanks so much to Abraham and his family! We had an unforgettable trip in Mexico city, and hope to stay in their oasis again in the future. Highly recommend!!

  • Abraham's house is really pretty and Abraham and his family were super nice, friendly and helpful! Abraham gave me great tips on where to visit and where to buy my favorite fruit guayaba (guava)! It is not super close to the square, but it's only about 20 minutes walk. And the walk itself is quite interesting. You would pass the park in front of the Fine Arts Museum, where you can see a lot of locals hanging out. And it is easy to access through the subway system. I highly recommend this place for stay!!

  • Abraham was a great host. He gave us a lot of advice on the city and what to do. The room were clean and Abraham's family was very welcoming! This is a great place if you want to leave with mexicanos and avoid massive hotels.

  • The house got the right name. It is definitely an OASIS.
The house has three floors: on the first floor you will find a bright and spacious living room with TV, dining table as well as a kitchen with passage to the patio, on the second floor you will have the independent rooms and a bathroom, on the third floor a beautiful roof top with seating area and hammock. You can spend hours in the sun there.
Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to meet Abraham, but all over my stay I was in touch with him per mail. He communicated very, very well and provided me with every little information.
If you go to DF, don't miss the OASIS! Thank you for the nice stay.

  • I had such a wonderful experience at the Oasis! Abraham and Paki are warm and thoughtful hosts: they offered me maps, recommendations and tips, took me to their favorite neighborhood lunch spot and made my stay so comfortable!

I came to Mexico City alone for just a week, and the Oasis was great for meeting other travelers to explore with. My room was clean and bright, wifi was not fast but fine for my purposes and I loved sitting outside on the roof during the day.

I did a lot of exploring while I was there: there is a lot to see and it's easy to walk to the Centro and to take the metro different places. I was looking for this experience--the chance to explore a Mexico City neighborhood. I felt safe in the neighborhood, but as a woman walking alone after dark I drew some attention.

  • If you are looking for luxury, this is not your place, but Abraham is a great host and provides you with a private and comfortable room. Place is spacious, well located near the center, and Abraham is of good advice.
If you need to feel safe and in good hands, then this is your place! Not to forget his lovely daughter who's smile will make you melt if the sun didn't do that already.

  • I truly enjoyed my stay with Abraham, Paki and Aitana. Having this calm, clean place to unwind at the end of a long day of exploring was lovely, especially with delicious tacos al pastor from the cart just a couple of blocks away, dessert from the bakery on the corner and a cold beer on the rooftop deck. The area was very convenient to downtown, yet still felt like a real neighborhood where I could join folks at a street food stall, perched on little stools, devouring quesadillas with squash blossom flowers while watching soccer. The place was clean, roomy and stylish and Abraham and Paki were very warm, welcoming and helpful. I'm looking forward to going back!
