If you are not familiar with the area, it is a great place to stay. There is so much to do here, you could spend an entire month exploring the area and never get bored. It is also centrally located in Manhattan, which makes it easy to explore other areas as well. I really love my apartment and look forward to having you stay there! NOTE: My check-in/check-out is flexible, so please be flexible as well. If you arrive at 9 am the day of your check-in, it is very likely that someone will still be staying at the apartment and it will need to be cleaned. I may have to ask you to drop off your bags and come back later. That being said, I have never had a problem with this and ask for your understanding in these circumstances. This is not a hotel, but I promise to do my absolute best in these situations to accommodate everyone.
Treat the apartment as you would your own home. No smoking inside the apartment.
5 estrellas !
Everything from checkin to checkout was perfect, Bryan made his best to deliver a professional service, I felt like I was at a friend's house, I'll definitely recommend your apartment to anyone who wants to know NYC, I'ts really close to the subway and thats all you need to travel across the city. East Village has a special charm for going out. 5 stars all the way.
This apartment was very comfortable. It was perfect size for what we needed. Very comfortable bed. Short distance to a subway which was awesome! There was nothing wrong with our stay at all. Bryan was very helpful with everything from helping carry our luggage to suggesting good places to eat and hang out. He is very friendly and attentive. This is a perfect place to live out the real New York experience!
This is a great appartment. Clean and very well located. Brian is very nice and easy accessible. He can give you valuable advices! "The place to be"!!! ;o)
Viaggio a new york fine gennaio 2015 facilmente prenotato presso loft di Bryan.
We had a 11 night say at Bryan's apartment and NYC was the 3rd stop of our US trip in which we used AirBnB for each stay. Unfortunately this accommodation no where near lived up to previous reviews or our expectations.
*Location in East Village was good - close to many bars and restaurants.
*WiFi was great and very fast.
*Apartment was WAYYY too noisy - We only really used the apartment to sleep as we were out most of the time from early till late - when you can't get any sleep - staying is a waste of time. Had to get ear plugs. Being NYC you expect noise but bed is right next to window & we couldn't get sleep (we also experienced the roadworks others experienced on 24/7 basis).
*Apartment was not clean, especially if we are paying a cleaning fee.
We are not fussy travellers but did not have a great stay.
Overall would not stay again.
The East Village is not a particularly noisy neighborhood and the apartment is on the 4th floor, which greatly reduces the street noise. There are also blinds on the windows which also help. That being said, if you are from a small town and not used to large cities like London, Paris, or NYC, the apartment may be noisy in comparison, but not by NYC standards. As far as cleaning, I always tell my guests that if it is not up to their personal standards, I can come and clean again. Adam never complained to me about this and only complained about noise on his last night as well as asking for money.
Fantastic experience in NYC! We loved the place. The flights of steps were tough but we survived. :-)
Bryan was very nice and welcoming. Awesome host!!!
We will absolutely return in the future.

I work in merchandising and sales for a menswear company in Manhattan. I have lived all over the United States while growing up, but am glad to finally call NYC my home. I can't imagine living anywhere else. When I am not working, I am out and about with friends downtown Manhattan and in Williamsburg. I am really into music and try my best to make it to at least one or two concerts every week. The music scene was a major motivation for me to move here. If you need any help with suggestions of places to go in NYC, I will be glad to help.
