The Space

Within a minutes walk from one of Costa Rica's most popular beach breaks, Dominical, you can enjoy the privacy and comfort of our lovely beach house. It is located in the center of Dominical, but surrounded by a wonderfully private yard full of beautiful native plants and trees. Our house has a fully equipped kitchen, high ceilings, hammocks, ceiling fans throughout the home, WiFi internet and cable TV, hot water, covered parking, and maid service if needed. The bedroom has a king size bed and we also offer an extra double mattress if needed for extra guests. There is also a day bed in living room. The house is within easy walking distance to all the amenities in Dominical, including restaurants, grocery stores, bank, buses, etc. There are also many surf and adventure companies throughout town for those looking for surf and fun. Its the perfect getaway for a family or couple who want to be close to the surf and sunsets, close to everything, and also be in a beautiful private atmosphere!

  • Nicole was a great host and very hospitable! She left coffee and fruit for us as well as a list of recommendations of where to eat and things to do while in Dominical. The house is very relaxing and there are hammocks in front which was my favorite. There was a lot of geckos around the house and on the celling but did not bug us and were not harmful :)

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nicole's property. It is everything advertised and more. It's in the heart of Dominical so the beach, vendors and restaurants are just a few steps away. Watching the Iguanas move about (and falling out of) the tree in the front yard provided plenty of entertainment and was an added bonus :). It was really warm when we stayed but the breeze flows through the house fairly well and there are ceiling fans in every room so it was comfortable to sleep and hang out. Nicole was very welcoming and even had a treat basket awaiting our arrival. Dominical, Nicole and her house truly embrace the Pura Vida lifestyle.

  • This house was a great final destination in our trip. We arrived to a very clean home with fresh flowers in several vases across the house, snacks in a bowl and a very welcoming atmosphere. Great location - a 2 minute walk to everywhere in town.

  • I came to Nicole's house after leaving a music festival and it was a perfect stay. The place was clean and tidy, with thoughtful touches. I appreciated the pineapple, mango, coffee and snacks that were left for me. The open-air design of the house was refreshing and perfectly comfortable during my stay (end of February). Being able to use the laundry machines after the festival was really helpful (thank you Nicole!). The bed was big and comfy. Water pressure and temperature was the best of any place on my 10-day trip.

  • We had a fantastic time at Nicole house in Dominical and a wonderful vacation in this part of Costa Rica. The four of us (including 2 kids) stayed quite comfortably in it, and enjoyed very much this place located just few steps from a nice beach, and within 15-60 min. from several great places and outdoor activities. The house is very nice with a large bedroom, functional kitchen, nice living space, and a very spacious shower; our kids particularly enjoyed the large front yard, the outdoor shower, and of course the hammocks!

Nicole has been a great host, always promptly addressing our questions (tons of it), making sure not only that we enjoyed our stay at the house, but also helping us a great deal with suggestions on places to visits and things to do in the area.

    Thanks Nicole!

  • We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house in Dominical. The traditional architecture gives good natural ventilation (in combination with the ceiling fans), meaning there's no need for airconditioning. The location is excellent for surfing and/or standup paddleboarding, as the house is located just a few steps from the beach. It's at the end of a little dead-end street, so there's a lot of privacy, and the garden is truly fantastic, with lots of tropical plants, flowers and birds. And of course the hammocks to take it all in.
We even saw a Scarlet Macaw at the back of the house.

Light sleepers may want to take ear plugs, if they stay at the peak season between Christmas and New Year like we did. Some noise can be expected (email hidden). We slept through it without ear plugs though.

The location in Dominical is perfect to visit surrounding areas (e.g. horseriding in the hills, ziplining and nature walks at Hacienda Baru, nature park Marina Ballena,...).

  • Nicole's house in Dominical is a little piece of paradise. Only a stone's throw away from the beach and restaurants, it is an ideal retreat from the crowds and the hustle and bustle of the every day life. Its perfectly manicured loan and luscious trees make one feel relaxed and at peace. That is, apart from an occasional lizard that would fall from the trees, possibly as a result of a territorial feud with another lizard.

Nicole and Jose are wonderful hosts, incredibly responsive and attentive. The communication could not be better, I am very pleased with the experience. I would not hesitate to come back again.
