I love staying at Lèneke's Bed & Breakfast. She is really deserves her GOLD Airbnb host title! Leneke is a perfect host. She was waiting for me when I arrived, had a coffee with me and showed me her beautiful house, giving me the choice of two lovely bedrooms. She also guided me on the best places to visit according to my preferences.
At Lèneke's place I had excellent breakfast every morning with fresh orange juice and nice little suprises in addition to a very well furbished fridge in a little kitchen by the main room, that I could use for my personal needs.
I heartedly recommend this place and hope that all those that will pass by Lèneke's house will be kind and appreciate this beautiful Airbnb host.
I will certainly return to Lèneke's place and recommend it to my friends.
My son and I had a wonderful stay. Leneke is the true owner of this airbnb and her desire for guests to have a comfortable stay shows this. I wouldn't stay anywhere else on Amsterdam.
I chose Lèneke's bed and breakfast for my mother because it was close to my own home and had wonderful reviews. However, the reviews did not do Lèneke or her apartment justice. Lèneke went above and beyond to accommodate my mother. Every morning she had fresh orange juice ready, she stocked the fridge with lots of breakfast items (eggs, milk, meat etc.) and even brought cake because she knew it was my birthday. If you are looking for an apartment where you can be loud and party, this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a wonderful experience with a phenomenal host then I would recommend you stay here. The location is wonderful, the house is beautiful and Lèneke is wonderful!
Charming host. Lovely place, very well situated. Very easy to contact the host. The most welcoming host I have ever had.
We loved staying in Leneke's beautiful house! The building itself is just gorgeous and the location was perfect for us - an easy to walk to just about anywhere. We couldn't have asked for a friendlier or more helpful host and will definitely come again! We were very sad to leave!
Lèneke is a very special person and really a Super Host! Her House is simply wonderful and she provides everything to make your stay unforgettable!
Lèneke - is one of those rare and wonderful hosts that makes you feel you have known her all your life from the moment you meet her. The location is convenient to Central Station and most places you want to go well within walking distance. The very comfortable house was built in 1628 is an eclectic combination of old and new. I felt very at home here and a friend even came over and played the piano before dinner - something I wouldn't be able to do in a hotel. Charming home and even more charming host. Thank you Lèneke for having me as your guest. Mark
About the Host, Lèneke
I am a Dutch-woman, a mother and within short a grandmother.
I am the owner of the house and I live in the upper part of it. I used to play the violin and I have been active in the art- and antiquarian books/prints sector.
Then I took care of our family.
I love very much the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
I speak several other languages, like French, German, English and Italian.
