Which better place to stay in Rome of Trastevere, one of the most beautiful and characteristic areas of the central city, one of the oldest and historical hearts of Rome.
The apartment is located in one of its many alleys known for its many famous restaurants and nightclub, Via della Scala.
The apartment is about 38mq., being a ground floor and staying in a beautiful courtyard, enjoys the privilege of staying very quiet but at the same time, coming out, enjoys the highest of joy and fun, then has a nice outdoor area of about 12mq. that belongs to the house where you can eat outdoors in peace.
It consists of a single environment rather large to small, typical and comfortable as all covered with wood, both floors and the beamed ceilings, at the entrance there is a small table with chairs, a sideboard rustic, a small sofa and an armchair, then going a step almost as a separate environment, there is a double bed and a small wardrobe, a small stereo/CD and a large flat screen TV, hanging high on the wall opposite the bed.
There is the possibility to accommodate another person also.
Returning to the entrance, near the dresser, there is a little kitchen, furnished and equipped with a mini-fridge, cooking machine with an oven, and finally in front of it, there is a small bathroom with a bathtub. There are always clean towels and sheets. The house is provided with an air conditioner that in addition to functioning as heating, also functions as a conditioner in summer, this allows that the environment, not being very large, reaching immediately in both cases the ideal temperature. There are a hair dryer and an iron.
Easily accessible from the main train station in Rome, Termini Station, by many bus that in 20 minutes take you to Viale Trastevere directly, the Sonnino/S.Gallicano bus stop and then from there by walking a few meters, we arrive at home, maybe going to the famous restaurant "La Parolaccia". Near there is the famous American University. Always walk, from Trastevere you can reach the most beautiful sites that there are to visit in Rome, such as Castel Sant'Angelo, the Gianicolo, the Tiber Island, Testaccio, not to mention the famous Porta Portese market. In short, for those who come from far away to Rome, Trastevere is undoubtedly one of the very best that lends itself to everything.
From the airports, the first one Fiumicino, Leonardo da Vinci and the other one Ciampino, you can take the internal train or the bus shuttle to reach Termini Station in 45 minutes or you can take a taxi.
Although it is not equipped with free Wi-Fi in front of the house there is a very quaint and cozy bar where you can enjoy this service consuming maybe a good cup of coffee.
As there is a washing machine, on the other hand, in one of the alleys adjacent house, there is the possibility to use the laundry where, at very low cost, in less than an hour you can wash its dirty laundry.
Assoluta e piena disponibilità.
Il massimo del divertimento.
Ben collegato sia a piedi che con i mezzi pubblici.
Excellent appartment, you get what you see on the photos (and a bit more :)
The host is friendly and very helpfull.
The placement in Trastevere is perfect!
The apartment is very cosy and centrally placed in a beautiful area.
We were running a bit late due to a flight delay, but the host was flexible and waited an extra 2 hours for us so that we could get the key to the apartment without further ado. Emanuela was very helpful with tips for sightseeing and getting around in the area and the rest of Rome. We had a very enjoyable stay and would certainly book again with Emanuela if we get to Rome again in the future.
All was as advertised. Great location and nice little flat with all the amenities for a short stay.
However there is no wifi on location which was the main downside for me. On the other hand, there is plenty of free wifi at bars and restaurants in the area. So take coffee and croissant nearby.
The location of the apartment is perfect! We arrived a bit early and they were great at accommodating us and letting us into the apartment. Was very charming and I loved the neighborhood. Can walk to all attractions in Rome.
The only negative is the bed is very small for 2 people and I didn't sleep very well, and wished there was wifi. All these things I knew and still booked apartment as for the location, it is worth it still!
The location of Emanuela's place is perfect. As advertised, it's right in the heart of Trastevere, but somehow the apartment and its adjacent courtyard are quiet and tranquil.
Emanuela sent us detailed and extensive information about Rome, transportation and the apartment before our arrival. Her property manager, Mauro, hung around the apartment for a few hours - because my boyfriend and I flew in on different flights and had staggered arrivals. He was really helpful and lovely.
The apartment looks as advertised - it's small, but clean and equipped with everything you could need (clean towels, hairdryer, mini-fridge, guidebooks, ect). Emanuela even left us a little laptop to take to the cafe around the corner if we needed to get online (as advertised - this apartment gets absolutely no internet connection).
Only concerns; the bed is pretty small for 2 people - I think it's slightly smaller than the standard Western double. There also isn't any kind of shower curtain around the bathtub - which can make for a wet bathroom floor for those not accustomed to using a handheld shower head.
Other than those two small things, this is a great place for a couple looking to have a safe and clean place to stay in the best neighbourhood in Rome!
What a wonderful little apartment. Loved our stay here. Perfect area for going everywhere in Rome and so many cafes and bars on the streets surrounding made for a lovely atmosphere in the evening. Very welcoming and clear instructions regarding the accommodation and surrounding area. Would recommend to anyone!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment has an amazing central location in Trastevere but is quiet & safe (located off street behind locked gates). Emanuela is a great host, friendly and responsive to any questions. The best gelato we found in Rome, Old Bridge, just opened a location three doors down from the apartment too!
We had a great stay at Roma! The flat is very well located in Trastevere, our favorite neighborhood in Roma (very cute and a lot of animations at night). The flat is very quiet and clean, it is perfect for a couple. Emanuela was a great host! She is very friendly and was very helpful when she solved very quickly the problem we had with a key. It was a pleasure to communicate with her. Thanks a lot Emanuela!
Everything was perfectly organized by Emanuela and her very kind co-worker Mauro, who gave us his keys when we were asking for a second pair of keys for the appartment.
We had a very nice time in Rome without any issue. All questions were answered really quick and to our fullest satisfaction and Emanuela was always available on phone.
The appartment is in the best suburb of Rome regarding spending the night. You get out of the appartment and you have the choice of numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, shops. Nearly all of them have free WIFI, so no worries with the missing connection in the appartment. There was also a notebook available for our use. Also from Trastevere you can easily walk all the sights.
The only upset, but which is not an issue of the appartment, were the many moskitos in Rome this time of the year. So don´t forget some spray or a net for the bed.
We had a fabulous vacation in Roma. The location of the apartment is ideal - we love Trastevere and walked all over the city from there. Emanuela was attentive and arranged for Mauro to let us in and orient us to the apartment. It is a very charming place and has everything you need. I would warn prospective renters that the bed is small and the mattress is thin. It was too small for me and my 6'2" husband to sleep comfortably. And there were mosquitos in the place that feasted on us all night. We still had a wonderful time in spite of the lack of sleep and the itching! My other feedback is that it would have been helpful to have a second set of keys. The apartment building has many locked gates that lock in both directions, so the two of us had to come and go everywhere at the same time. That was okay, though - kind of romantic.
