I really enjoyed my stay here. Vina was very kind and thoughtful. She even met me when I got lost and couldn't find the place, and called me a taxi when I had to leave Bali for a short time. Thanks Vina!
The apartment was very nice; you just can't beat having AC, hot water (although it wasn't very much hot water), and an indoor kitchen with a fridge. I like to do a lot of cooking myself so having an indoor kitchen where the mosquitoes couldn't get me was the best thing ever!
So whats the catch.. well, not much actually, its close to a nice big super market called Pepito's, its close to the beach, restaurant spots, etc. But here are some minor con's:
~It cost me a little more than I expected during my one month of stay - you have to pay separate for electricity. Cost me an extra (phone number hidden) RP.(Advise: turn the breakers - not attached to the fridge - off when you leave for a long time)
~It wasn't completely furnished so I had to get a few things - knives, cooking utensils, bowls, etc.
~You only get like 5 channels on the TV. (maybe thats typical in Bali idk. I didn't watch TV anyways so it didn't matter to me so much)
~The temple right outside plays very loud chants 6am, noon, 6pm, maybe more, I'm not sure.
~Hot water in the shower lasts less than 5 min if you take a shower normally. (Conserve as much as you can when you're soaping, and turn it up and hot when rinsing; doing this worked well.)
~Wifi speed went in and out; but most of the time it was okay.
Well, I think this is about it. Overall This place was a great place to stay, Vina was very nice, the dogs and puppies they had were super cute, very private, and everyone I met staying at the complex were very nice.
I moved from a small town in Java around 2004 to live here in Bali; I am an easy going person and love to meet new people.
I like to stay here because of the warmth with the Balinese people, the beauty of the island, a cozy atmosphere, so here I am to share this same feeling with you.
Please be my guest in our new Mini Apartments the Source Bali, a nice clean place to explore Bali Island from.
Enjoy your stay, and hope to meet you soon!
